Seoul Hongdae Photo Studio Experience

The Studio is close to Hongdae station, just 5-min away. It’s located in the basement so you’ll have to look for its sign when you walk by. The photo-shooting experience is fun! If you don’t have appropriate outfit it’s fine, you can rent their for free. However, don’t expect their clothes are very clean (I found some stains on the shirt). The makeup and hairstyling took around 1 hour. Photo-shooting took only about 10mins. You will also get to see how your photo is being photo-shopped. You will get your passport size photos printed out right away. I went there at 10:30am and left the shop at around 12:15pm.

Arrive according to the appointment time, no need to wait, start applying makeup directly. The makeup is very careful and you can experience Korean makeup. To be honest, it is cost-effective😆 In addition, the photographer will guide you to make different smiles and expressions, so that you can better understand which smile is more beautiful. Finally, when choosing photos, they won’t sell them hard, but they can’t help but buy one more. After selecting the photo, they will invite you to take a look at the contour retouching, and then carefully revise it if you are satisfied. There was a Chinese translator throughout the entire process, so there were no communication problems at all. We included makeup, hair set, professional ID photography and photo editing for one price, which was very cost-effective. 🥰Photos can be taken on the same day, and the edited pictures will be emailed to you, which is extremely efficient.

It's really nice to hear that the store clerk can speak Chinese. The girl who does makeup and hair is very gentle and will not make people feel distant. The shooting was actually quite fast, but the whole process took a long time because of the makeup and hair. Later I purchased an extra photo and really enjoyed the photo-taking experience.

The location is relatively convenient as it is near Hongik University subway station, but the store is located on the B1 floor and it may be a little difficult to find the back left. The reception is because Taiwanese people don't wash themselves and worry about communication. The photographer will always teach you how to manage your expressions. Finally, you can choose a photo and sit down. I'm very satisfied with the effect when I watch the Prime Minister arrive in Li next to me.

we spent about 2.5 hours to finish the shooting and choosing the most suitable photos, it’s a nice experience for Korean photo style. The photographer and the assistant are nice and helpful!

Very good event experience. The staff are friendly and attentive. They will help to arrange the hair when shooting. One of the staff speaks good English and communicates smoothly. After shooting, you can choose a picture and then retouch it. After adjusting the ratio, the photographer will ask if it suits you. After that, the customer can leave and retrieve the photo according to the time provided by the store. The photographer will repair the picture according to his own professionalism. The finished product is very delicate. The only disadvantage is that the customer cannot make a request in the photo editing room, so the finished product is too beautiful but it is a foregone conclusion😂 The whole experience is pleasant, and I look forward to participating again next time. It is recommended that you make an appointment loosely. It takes time to pick up the work. Shoot in the morning. The store recommends to pick up the ID photo at 6 o'clock.

The photographer was really friendly and their whole team was professional. They were really good at giving you instructions how to post and i was really very comfortable as it's my first time doing such profile shoot.
