Reviews
I do not recommend coming to Izmir in the summer season. It is way too hot in Ephesus and the ruins are crowded. House of Virgin Mary was interesting and the water fountain tasted fresh. Tour guide of Crowded House tours was great and knowledgeable and kept us in the shade when it was possible, but the car that took us to the airport was barely able to cool us off because the heat was so strong here. 40+ degrees Celsius and the AC was always fighting a losing battle.
Our Ephesus day tour was an absolutely incredible experience, largely thanks to our outstanding guide, Marvi. His knowledge of the ancient city was truly impressive, bringing the ruins to life with fascinating insights and historical context. We were consistently amazed by the sheer scale and beauty of Ephesus, particularly the intricate details of the Temple of Hadrian, the grandeur of the Great Theatre, and the historical significance of the Temple of Artemis. Beyond his extensive knowledge, Marvi was incredibly polite and made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged throughout the day. The tour also included a fantastic "eat all you can" lunch, which was a delicious and satisfying addition to an already perfect day. We highly recommend this Ephesus tour, especially if you have the chance to be guided by Marvi!
Great experience with amazing tour English speaking guide. We had decent amount of time spent at each stop due to not so much busy during winter months which made the trip overall pleasant. Every place in the itinerary was great to visit. Must do activity while one is in Kusadasi or Izmir.
We got picked up at 8:50. Our van is very new. Our local guide, Merve, is very knowledgeable. She reminded me of Drew Barrymore 😉. Our first stop is the Natural Park of the Virgin Mary Meryem Ana Tabiat Park. We spent about 30 minutes there. Then, the tour van took us to the Ephesus Ancient City. Merve led us around the city and explained the history of each site. Finally, we went to the Temple of Artemis. The lunch was included too. It's a buffet style Turkish cuisine. Really really tasty 😋. I liked it a lot. During, the tour, they also took us to a leather store and a souvenir shop. You don't need to purchase anything if you don't want it. Overall, it's worth it 👍👍👍
It was overall amazing and I alble to learn a lot of things about the history. The tourguide Mert and Merve is so professional and knowledgeable. I love the way they explain all the history of this ancient city. The tour company didn't cancel the the trip even if I'm the only tourist they had that day. I will consider to book them again when I come back to turkey in my next adventure. The name of thier company is Crowded House Tours and I highly recommend them.
the tour was very nice. I had a small group tour so it is very efficient to move with. And the guide was helpful and informative.
The best way to go and see Ephesus from Izmir. Our guide Merve was very nice and explained the history very well!
The guide was very kind and knowledgeable. i would go again and definitely will recommend to friends and family.
The trip to Ephesus was really impressive. It was fascinating to see preserved artifacts and buildings from ancient times.
Great experience. Although we got a problem with the food. They seem to have miscommunication, but the tour and guide was great!
