Reviews
We had a very enjoyable excursion to Nikko from Tokyo with Ko and Chen. Chen was a safe, conscientious driver on the curvy mountain roads which I appreciated as a passenger. Ko was both efficient and accommodating while being an informative guide. We would recommend this outing highly as it is a great day trip from Tokyo to see some of the most beautiful landscapes and landmark architecture.
A great experience and a lovely day out. For tourists looking for some nature outside of Tokyo, this was brilliant. the host was fun and warm, easy to meet location (remember to add additional time for finding the station exit!). the temple is stunning and sat beautifully in nature, the lake is tranquil and the waterfall is a sight to see.
Carter was a really fun and nice guy and kept us smiling all day! It was a stunning trip and it was nice to not put the effort into finding the right trains etc to board and just sit passively in a bus. Well worth it!
we easily arrived at the meeting point and we were immediately welcomed by our guide KO, a very kind, helpful guy, prepared in terms of information on the places to visit. The guide always wore an orange vest and a flag to be clearly visible, he also did everything possible to respect the program times. Excellent guide. Very nice excursion, clean bus, fabulous waterfalls. I recommend booking with Klook and asking for the guide KO, a wonderful person, intelligent and funny
I'm glad I joined this trip. I highly recommend it. The sites were amazing and nothing short of spectacular. The tour guide, Coco was really nice. She even offered to take my pics. Joining this kind of bus tours are so good and convenient. There is nothing to worry about even if you are a solo traveller like me, everything was well planned. Oh, and did I say the weather was perfect this day?!
We did the Nikko tour with the friendly guide Ko. He was a very knowledgeable tour guide and catered to all our wishes. Above all, he went to great lengths to ensure that all participants were back at the meeting points on time. If someone got lost, Ko took care of it immediately and reunited the group. We thank Ko for the great trip. Many greetings from Germany from Leonie and Tobias!
Our Guide Harry, has been the sweetest. I appreciate his effort to find me when I got lost on the pick up point. About the shrine, it’s breath taking beautiful. A must see place. Don’t miss to climb up and go to wishing tree. The path is beautiful. The food 🍱 was vegetarian and the best of lot at the restaurant. The only thing I felt was we could have got 1 hour at the lake. Rest everything was great.
Did the tour last Oct. 31 so we were able to catch the maple trees still red and orange. The guide was informative and gave brief explanations during the bus ride before we got to the location. Lunch was all vegetables no meat - it was delicious but not for those who aren’t used to vegetarian meals. There was enough time for each of the activities without feeling rushed - you can walk around on your own then meet up at the indicated time.
Our male Chinese guide (sorry I forgot the name) could communicate well in English and was very professional and accommodating. The meetup place was also easy to locate and we were very comfortable during the trip. It is best to go in the last few says of October to experience the pretty autumn colors in Nikko. I wish we could have gone down the bus to take pictures of the Shinkyo Bridge though.
highly recommended. this is a very good trip to view Nikko. if klook can add in some time to view the iconic red bridge at Nikko will be good. the bus pass by, was hoping to get down to take pic. but overall itinerary is Great. beautiful lake and waterfall.
