I booked this but unfortunatly it got cancelled the day before. So I just went on my own which isn't so hard to do
Would definitely recommend this one. Since we had elderly with us on the trip, I wanted it to be comfortable for them. Easy transfers from Hongdae, just one bus. The only downside is that you might spend too long a time cos there is only one return trip. The other offer available is 3 hours. You might want to consider that but it is relatively short and you might not be able to see everything.

We couldn't find our reservation at the Folk Village, so we couldn't enter. total scam!
The bus ride got canceled because not enough participants booked this activity. I got notification via email one day before so I had enough time to re-think my plans. If you're booking this, prepare yourself to commute to Korean Folk Village via public bus/subway + walking, mine took about 2hrs one-way, but it's not too difficult either. About the KFV, I actually liked the attraction. It felt like you're transported back in time to Joseon Dynasty. The cultural workshops were interesting to see and the houses/buildings were much like what you see in k-dramas. The autumn foliage also looks stunning in some areas inside the village. Must visit atleast once.
