Highly engaging guide. Thanks Kathryn for your sharing. Lovely Botanic Gardens and the history behind it.
this walk is great, it is very informative interesting to go. Hope to go again because it's free. thanks!
Had a wonderful time joining the guided tour. Got to learn quite a fair bit of the garden’s history. Lovely guide that was a joy to be around with! Throughly enjoyed the cold winter guided walk and I would definitely recommend it to anyone intending to visit Melbourne.
Pros : a good way to gain more knowledge on the plants, flowers, bamboos and trees in the gardens and the tour guide were knowledgable and friendly. The garden is very big as well so there is a few things for you to explore and see Cons : The walking tour is about 1 hour 30 min so if you don't like long tours I would suggest you to re-consider this tour however the tour guide did mention if you would want to leave at any time, you are free to do so Tip: do go further ahead after the tour to check the lily flowers and boat ride (which is extra charges) but it is worth seeing the pond and area around it
The weather was super hot on the day of our tour. So it wasn't the best day for a walk. Fortunately we brought sun umbrellas for shade and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Great experience all round for myself and two guests from overseas.
We absolutely love the Royal Botanic Garden and would recommend to anyone who go to Melbourne 🥰🥰🥰🥰 it’s such a beautiful place with a variety of trees, flowers and the lake is just breathtaking
The staff was amazing and knowledgeable. I am so grateful the walk around with a bit of history and tips sharing.
the garden is too beautiful, there is also a beautiful lac in middle of this garden. It was really a good experience to be there.
The staff are very attentive, taking you on a tour of the place and providing knowledge. Excellent service from both the receptionist and the staff.
