Reviews
Nice dinner. I loved the fried bean curd and the chilly crab. For the boat ride, take the open air back sea to really enjoy the night scenes of Singapore River. The boat is clean and not bumpy. Overall a enjoyable evening.
Totally enjoyed the insightful walking tour around Clarke Quay led by our guide Ms. Alice Jung. Also enjoyed the sumptuous seafood dinner at the House of Seafood. Great food and customer services. We had great fun interacting with Alice Jung.
Overall a pleasant experience though our session was postphone for a few times due to the covid situation. Had a good dinner with my spouse overlooki g the singapore dinner. Food quality was good and generous for 2 person. Cruise was a short one for about 30mins.
Food was tasty and portion was sufficient for a table of 5 as we joined this in a group of 5. It was a very early dinner though. 45 mins river cruise was enjoyable and timing was perfect, to catch the sunset.
What an experience being tourist in my own country! Though it was drizzling for a bit, our spirits were not tampered by the beautiful sights and learning about the history of my country. Food was quite alright, crab was pretty small portion for pax of 5, but overall a recommended tour for young and old!
Using Sg voucher. Was quite a nice experience. Tour Guide, Alice was very friendly and although she wasn’t eating, she went round each table frequently to ensure very one was happy. She even helped serve the dishes because the restaurant was very packed hence staff shortage. First time taking the cruise in Singapore and was pleasantly please. Was windy but partly sunny (hence not really a night cruise: 6pm) but the view was good. Itinerary started with cruise then seafood dinner at house of seafood. (Fish maw soup, you tiao, wu xiang, pork rib, lala mee hoon, steam fish, chilli crab and yam paste). Two of us had to share table with a family of four. Fortunately that family was very friendly and even helped serve us and nobody use their person utensil on the dishes (only use the serving spoon) hence lesser risk of Covid19? Portion size for the crab was very small thou. I think one crab for 6 people? But the fish was quite huge.
The foods provide by House of Crab , every dishes is good and the night Singapore river ride was great. The weather was good, it was a cool night and the water was calm . Lastly , the tour guide Cindy Lim was a friendly and helpful , to made the trip a pleasant and recommend able one .
Food was delicious (although the dessert was a little sweet at the end), tour guide Alice was very bubbly and personable, and the boat trip at the end was a very good ending! Highly recommend the boat trip especially and tickets can be purchased directly from the booth at $20.
Great for family gathering, being tourists in our own country. Honestly felt the cruise was a bit too short (everyone on the boat were a bit surprised it ended so quickly!). Nevertheless, this is still a good option for you to use the SRV with your family. Tour can perhaps customise/get a bit more creative with the river cruise since we're all Singaporeans onboard.
It's been a long time since we've only been at home due to the corona crisis, and it's been a long time since we had dinner and a river cruise together with beautiful Singapore as a gift for a happy time with sunset.
