Little India Walking Tour

After looking for a while, I found the Indian Heritage Center. I went to the counter at 10:10 to present the voucher. The staff gave me a guide and asked me to go upstairs to visit. 10:25 Go downstairs and ask for a walking tour. The staff asked me to meet outside. Several teams gathered outside. I didn't know which one was klook, so I looked for it again. The Bigbus guide took my voucher information and asked me to sit down and gather with everyone, start explaining, give everyone snacks, take us to shopping streets, markets, and finally dissolve at the bus stop in front of Bamboo Foot Center Meal. The tour guide said at the beginning that tips can be given at the end, so I gave SGD 2 and thank him for taking us on a hot day. My English ability is ordinary, I can understand 60%, European and Americans in the same group can ask questions, and the answer is as streamlined as possible, and the guide will try to answer.

It is really bad to have a professional tour guide. You can better understand the cultural characteristics of this area of Little India. It is really full of exotic flavors~ I have the illusion of going abroad again.

Little India is very exotic and can see other aspects of Singapore.

This is a nice introductory course to the history of Indian people in Singapore and their very colorful culture. First you will walk around the Little India arcade where there are so many stores that sell souvenirs and trinkets. Then, you’ll be able to experience the wet market. You will also see the Chinese villa and Hindu temple. One downside of this tour is you won’t be able to shop because it is only a 2-hour tour. You would need to go back to the stores after the tour and buy what you want.

A very good experience with roger. He is really the insider of little India. I have learnt a lot of stuff that I would have missed if I was not registered for the tour.
