Snow Mountain East Peak is 3201m (Hundred Mountains No. 74). During the Japanese colonial period, it was named the second highest Dongshan Mountain. It starts from the Wuling Farm Snow Mountain Trailhead and the mileage is 5K. As long as you pass the test of the crying slope, you can climb to the top of the mountain with a good outlook and have a panoramic view of Wuling Sixiu, Nanhu Central Peak, Hehuan Peak and other famous mountains.
The team at Mountain Forest Secret Realm is very professional and I look forward to exploring other Baiyun Mountains with them next time👍👍👍
The guide was professional and enthusiastically shared hiking experiences and tips, especially regarding the risks of high-altitude mountain climbing, which were explained to us in detail. The pace was adjusted according to the overall condition of the team, and the guide was very principled, which made us feel at ease. I hope to have the opportunity to climb other high mountains together in the future.
A really relaxing 2-day 1-night hike. Take note, this is the EAST peak not the main peak. It is about 3,200m. Total distance back and forth would be about 10km. The main peak is another 14km more. It is a really good beginner hike and Guide Lian Zhen was really caring for the whole team. Qika hut isn't the most scenic or comfortable, but this is a hike, not a hotel. I wouldn't go for it again, because I prefer other, longer hikes, but make no mistake it was a really fun trip.
Although this is not my first time climbing a mountain, it is my sister's first Baiyue Mountain, congratulations on reaching the top! Thank you Chai Chai for taking good care of each teammate~
Great experience, it was my first time staying in a mountain house, the weather was very good and I was lucky, the organizer also arranged it very well, and there was plenty of time ^_^ I will sign up again if I have a chance
The guide and team leader are really great! He takes good care of group members with different physical abilities and is very patient!
The guide is very professional and will rest depending on the situation of the group members along the way. The two-day and one-night summit trip was very successful! To continue to challenge the next level!
From the lead tour guide to the pick-up and drop-off vehicle, the overall service quality is quite good!
This hiking trip was really disappointing. (10/10~10/11 Mount Xue East Peak for Beginners) I've joined other tours from this company before and always had a great experience, which is why I felt comfortable signing up again and bringing my beginner friends along. I didn't expect this trip to be so different. The leader didn't ask about the group members' hiking experience or physical condition beforehand, nor did they provide basic instructions or reminders, which was really surprising. On the first day, only a driver was sent to pick us up at North 2nd Gate. The whole group drove for most of the day, and we didn't see the leader until we arrived at the Xue Mountain trailhead. There was no explanation of the itinerary or any interaction along the way, which was a bit of a shock. There wasn't a designated time for a lunch break; instead, we went straight into the briefing. The overall pace was too fast and the breaks were too short, which was stressful for the beginners. During the hike, the guide didn't interact much with the group members. They didn't seem to be very aware of everyone's condition, and we felt a lack of care. The pace was even faster when we started hiking at dawn on the second day. It felt like they didn't consider that the group members needed to stop to rest and drink water. Later, there was a rescue incident at the mountain lodge, which affected us as well. However, the leader didn't provide much explanation about it. Overall, this experience was really unsatisfactory, and very different from the previous tours I've taken with this company.
