Half Day City & Water Village Tour in Brunei

The half-day city tour in Brunei was the perfect introduction to this peaceful and culturally rich country. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating stories about Brunei’s history, royalty, and way of life. We visited iconic sites like the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, which was absolutely stunning, and took in the view from the Royal Regalia Museum. Kampong Ayer, the water village, was another highlight—it was amazing to see how people live above the river in traditional wooden houses. The tour was well-paced, air-conditioned transport was comfy, and there was plenty of time for photos and questions. I only wish we had more time to explore, but for a half-day, it was worth every minute. Highly recommended for first-time visitors!

Despite only 4 hours, I can say that this tour is value for money as you will be able to explore the best in Brunei. also, our tour guide May was excellent and we learned a lot of things from her about the culture and people in Brunei. the tour also has a high tea included while in water village.

worth the money paid! our tour guide, Jocelyn “Jaws”, was super nice and knowledgeable. she was very fun to be with! we had so much fun and so many stops that we are laughing at how much the tour was so worth it. it also includes snacks from the water village. we learned a lot about Brunei from this tour!

Mr. Lim is such a wonderful tour guide!! He's been doing his job for 15 years already and really knows everything about Brunei, even gives trivias and has a good sense of humor. He also has his own mirror lens in camera which makes a good photo too! Brought us also to a very good restaurant where we even met the owner. Highly recommended!! Love the private tour too!

I appreciated that you were on time (in fact early), flexible when we changed the day around and added on another tour, and how well our schedule worked around the rain and sun in our day. I learned so much by going with you to the main city places tour and then to the Kampong Ayer- largest water village (surprise tea inside a home) and then the extra tour- out to see the Probiscis Monkeys, monkeys, Gators, snakes, birds. Loved each place we went! The order of events, places to go and your ability to answer my many questions with such honest positivity and love of your country was inspiring. Our guide is very knowledgeable and very conversational. we learned a lot, he took great photos, and assisted us all through the places, and even recommended a very yummy but affordable local food.

our tour guide Mr. Faisal was really a treat and made the entire Brunei Tour worth it. He gave us a lot of information and made us appreciate Brunei culture and Islam more.

our guide Ms May is really awesome. we were fortunate to see the monkey, monitor lizard, crocodile, kingfisher, flamingo and eagle. this is a quick tour but really worth it. do it on a morning!

Mr Mohammad is an excellent guide who brought us to all the place mentioned and his explanation for all the places in Brunei were amazing and top-notch.
