Hobbiton Movie Set Small Group Day Tour

If the app offered more than 5-stars, this one was definitely a solid 10-star experience. Our guide, Alessandro, had the humor, wit and presence that made the whole trip very memorable - he was very funny and knowledgeable, the 2-hour trip to and from Hobbiton was an entirely different experience. Our family has been through so many travel guides, and by far, Alessandro of Cheeky Kiwi is a paramount best! What an experience of a lifetime.

The itinerary is smooth, the tour guide is friendly, explaining Xiaochu, entering the scene, very dreamy.

A fantastic experience. The bus from Auckland take a bit over two hours to get to hobbiton. Once there the experience is enjoyable for both those who love the lord of the rings movies and others who just want to see something different.

It was a great value for money trip. The tour guide and driver Joe was very kind. Not only did he drive smoothly, he also introduced a lot of history and beautiful scenery along the way. Although the self-introductions of the group members on the way were intimidating, it also allowed Joe to get to know everyone. I won’t lose you🤣 Thank you Joe for getting out of the car and looking for me when he picked me up, because my pick-up location was skycity hotel, but I didn’t know that the car could drive so close to the automatic door, so I almost waited on the side of the road stupidly Missed the whole trip 🥹 Every scene in Habi Village is cute and the beer is delicious. Please remember to bring your ID to drink!

The place was beautiful. It felt like you were in the movie. Even though I am not a big fan of Hobbit, I still recommend the experience.

Felt almost surreal, took many great photos. Stopover at Shire's Rest for lunch and Green Dragon Inn for a beverage was planned well. Special thanks to Cookie, who was cheerful, patient and informative as she guided us along the many hobbit holes and even helped everyone take lovely photos. Overall a very lovely way to spend the day.

Participated in the one-day tour of Habi Village, but it was a pity that it was raining 😂, otherwise it should be more fun! Along the way, the big brother of the driver and the tour guide of Habi Village gave explanations very conscientiously. Unfortunately, we ducks listened to Lei, and almost couldn’t understand ~ the sadness of poor English😅. #Unexpectedly, there will be a cup of Green Dragon Winery for each person at the end! #driver let us take a break in the middle of recommending the delicious local Tip Top ice cream in New Zealand
