Reviews
After countless hours of research, I ultimately chose **Paradise Elegance** for our two-day, one-night trip with my family. Although we didn't spend much time in the room during daylight hours, I opted for a balcony room for a better experience, to avoid feeling cramped, and to enjoy the view of Ha Long Bay first thing in the morning. ▪︎ Transfer Service The day before departure, a staff member and driver will communicate the departure arrangements via WhatsApp. We were picked up from Hanoi in a spacious 7-seater car (our hotel was in Hoan Kiem Lake, so we didn't need to go to a meeting point; we could board directly at the hotel). During the approximately 3.5-hour drive, a rest stop was arranged (where we could buy snacks and coffee). **Please note that the second day's itinerary ends at 10:45 AM, but you will still need to wait at the meeting point for about 1 hour for the transfer vehicle.** ▪︎ Itinerary Ha Long Bay itineraries typically include Ti Top Island and Surprise Cave. The main differences between tours lie in the ship's facilities and activities. Staff members will accompany guests to the attractions and provide English explanations, which is very thoughtful. ▪︎ Dining Lunch on the first day and breakfast on the return trip on the second day are served buffet style, offering about 8 hot dishes, 2 soups, salads, sushi, desserts, juices, and more. On the second morning, a light bread breakfast is provided before the day's activities begin. For dinner, each person can choose two main courses, with additional desserts, soup, and appetizers available. There was even a happy hour on the first day, with a buy-one-get-one-free offer on alcoholic beverages!
This was a bit pricey compared to other Ha Long Bay cryises, but it felt worth it. The rooms and common areas were nice, the staff were very friendly and were fluent in English. The food was pretty good and they are very accommodating to your dietary preferences. A young man close to our table was a vegan and the chef custom made dishes that he could eat. The itinerary seemed good, though similar to most other cruises. Overall, I highly recommend if you want a premium experience!
We traveled with three generations, from people in their 80s to a 10-year-old, and everyone was satisfied and had a fun trip. Lunch and breakfast were buffet style, and dinner was a course meal, all of which were very delicious. Especially for dinner, you could choose two dishes from five main options, and both the taste and quantity were impeccable. There were also plenty of activities, making it a boat trip you won't get tired of. There was an announcement before every activity, but there was no announcement for the morning cave exploration (presumably because some people might be sleeping), so we missed the boat for the tour. It was clearly written in the itinerary, so it was completely our fault, but it was very disappointing. The explanations are all in English, so you need to carefully look at the itinerary and act on your own. Please be careful. All of the staff were very friendly and wonderful people.
Paradise Elegance was fully booked, and we were upgraded to the Paradise Peak Suite Room, which turned out to be an unforgettable experience. With only 14 guests onboard, the staff’s attention to detail was impeccable. The entire team—from the captain and bartender to the cruise manager and tour staff—was exceptional, making our trip truly memorable. The food was outstanding, with dishes like steak and lobster, and the tours were well-planned and enjoyable. Special thanks to Susan, who reached out to confirm our reservation and arranged the upgrade.
I’m a big cruiser with over 30 individual cruises in the past 15 years. This cruise, however, and albeit short at 2D and 1N ranks up there as one of the best I’ve experience. The hotel pickup/limousine service, the seamless transfer to the boat, and the attentiveness and genuineness of the boat’s hotel and dining staff made this very memorable. We enjoyed the accommodations - very spacious and well-appointed cabin and amenities and the dining experience. We very much appreciated the helpfulness of the staff - Blu, Ryan, and especially Krystle. We highly recommend Paradise Cruises and the whole Halong Bay experience.
The itinerary is rich and of high quality. First, there is a private car to pick up from Hanoi for free. The room is well decorated and the bed is very comfortable. The lunch buffet food is also very delicious. The itinerary is full after lunch, but the only time we went to Titop Island was when the crowds were so turbulent that it was difficult to swim in the water. Happy Hour buy one get one free, and there is also a Vietnamese spring roll cooking class, which can be eaten after the completion. Dinner is high-quality Western food, such as lobster, steak, etc. Overall, I am very satisfied with the itinerary!
We are upgraded to captain's deck suite! From the moment we hop on to the service limo van, we are already treated like elite, free flow of food all day, very convenient excursions. We went to Titop Island and Peak. Floating Pearl farm and Kayaking, Squid Fishing at night and visited the amazing Hang Sung Sot cave! The staffs are so kind, I highly recommend ppl to book Paradise Elegance, they exceeded my expectations and made our stay a trip of a lifetime in Halong that I would never forget. Thank You to the Staff aboard Paradise Elegance Ship number 2, Orange Team.
The overall service process is very smooth, only when the lounge is waiting to board the ship, the environment and order of the waiting lounge is a bit chaotic, and some tourists are noisy, but it is barely acceptable. After boarding the ship, I feel very good, the service staff are friendly, the room is consistent with the advertising photos, the cabin room is clean, the air is ventilated, the bed is very comfortable, and the meals are also rich. The trip to the island and the stalactite cave are super worth visiting.
After comparing various options, I chose Paradise Cruises🚢 and it was a great choice. I have used large ship cruises many times, and each service is excellent👍😀. I would like to use it again.
Highly recommended! The itinerary and food were fantastic. The unprecedented scenery we saw together on the boat added so many wonderful memories to our trip to Vietnam.
