Bangkok Temple Tour: Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, Wat Arun

The Klook day tours I've joined so far have never disappointed. This time, our tour guide Thana was extremely attentive, preparing water and small snacks for every member. During the bus ride, he also explained Thai culture and the main buildings we passed along the way. Although lunch was not included in the tour price, the guide reserved a restaurant for us in advance (saving everyone the time of searching everywhere for seats in a crowded tourist spot). Despite unfortunately running into all-day heavy rain, the guide still professionally led us through the entire itinerary and did his best to take great photos for everyone despite the weather. If you want to experience wearing traditional Thai attire, the guide can also help arrange it (at your own expense). Quick tips: 1. There is a dress code for entering the Grand Palace—short skirts, shorts, ripped jeans, etc., are not allowed, so you will need to buy a pair of pants or a skirt outside (around 200 Thai Baht). 2. You need to take off your shoes to enter both the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, so it is recommended to wear shoes that are easy to slip on and off (rain makes things a bit tougher, so bringing an extra pair of socks to change into is advised).

We enjoyed this tour very much! A huge shoutout to our guide, Cherry, who was incredibly informative, friendly, and kept us engaged throughout the entire trip. We visited the Grand Palace, Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), Wat Pho (with the massive Reclining Buddha), and Wat Arun. It is definitely a tiring walk, but it is 100% worth it and deeply fulfilling. Two big tips for anyone booking this: First - Bring an umbrella, the sun and heat can be intense. Second- Wear your most comfortable shoes, you will be doing a lot of walking! The absolute highlight for us was renting traditional Thai costumes and hiring a photographer at Wat Arun. The pictures turned out stunning and it was absolutely worth the money. Highly recommended tour if you want to experience the best of Bangkok's temples in one day!

This tour was an amazing, very informative, professional and personable tour, provided by Chopin and Bo. As a team they catered to both English and Chinese speakers, and both of them looked after their individual groups with care. Chopin for the English speakers gave so much background and information to each place the we visited, which was really helpful as this was my first tour of this kind. Going between the sites by bus and boat was well planned and involved no waiting. The lunch time restaurant was lovely and very quick to get food out to our group, and it was all delicious. Shout out to Chopin for managing to keep us all togeather and interested, as the day was super hot and by the end people were asleep on the bus to the final drop off. Thanks again especially to Chopin and Bo and to our driver for an excellent day, and my first solo holiday tour. 100% recommend thanks guys.

Mr. Thana was incredible. He was super knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The tour was amazing! We saw so many things and Mr. Thana was explaining everything from the history to the politics to the geography of the place. This was we had the full picture. He was stopping for pictures and giving us enough time to explore! He also warned us for tourist traps! If you book with him you are lucky.

A great tour to kickstart your Bangkok adventure. We were able to see the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Grand Palace, and Wat Pho with the Reclining Buddha. Overall, it was a good experience. Our van was spacious and comfortable. Our guide, Paul, is very helpful. He is very enthusiastic in helping us as well. I love how everything is already arranged for us. The weather is quite hot, so prepare yourselves. Bring an umbrella, your water, and some snacks as well. But overall, this has been a good experience.

We had a great time on this tour, even though the weather in Bangkok was really hot. Thankfully, the team provided free water throughout the trip, which was very much appreciated in the heat. Our tour guide, Thana, was very informative, friendly, and always made sure everyone stayed together and felt comfortable. He also kindly offered to take photos for the guests, which made the experience even more memorable. The Bangkok temples were absolutely stunning, with beautiful architecture, rich history, and peaceful surroundings. The scenery throughout the tour was amazing as well, from the intricate temple details to the vibrant atmosphere around the city. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great way to explore the beauty and culture of Bangkok.

Guide Visan was really knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the history behind Wat Arun, Wat Pho, and the Grand Palace. He was also very patient and made sure we understood what we were seeing. We’re really glad we decided to get the tour because it made everything so much easier and more enjoyable for us, especially since it was our first time. Definitely worth it! 😊

Our tour guides were very friendly, caring, and welcoming to all tourists. They explained the history of each temple clearly and made every stop more meaningful and interesting. The join in trip we booked from klook was absolutely unforgettable! Thanks to our tour guide Mr. Sammy and to our driver Mr. Kin. We were also blessed to be part of a group of Filipinos in that said tour which made us feel comfortable. The experience was amazing and Mr. Sammy was commendable. From the moment we met, he was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and enthusiastic. He brought the history of each location to life and made sure we didn’t miss any hidden gems. The pacing was perfect, and he was always happy to answer questions or snap photos for us. The tour was highly organized and punctual although we were a bit late, Mr. Sammy still managed to finished the tour on time and also he always went out of his way to ensure everyone was comfortable. The warm and friendly personality of our tour guide and driver along with our tour mates made this tour a wonderful and stress-free day. I Highly recommend this experience!
