Reviews
Had a fantastic tour, really good tour guide who spoke fluent English and made everyone welcome and answered all questions. We were a group of 7 in a minibus that felt more private and comfortable and by the end we all became friends despite where we were from and my partner and I even did karaoke after with some Aussies! Mt Fuji was beautiful, the caves were cool (literally) and interesting, lunch was fantastic and the sake tasting was insightful and tasty! Highly recommended for anyone.
This is a good tour makes you worry-free! Make sure to go to the exact location of the meeting place given the day before or early on. We went to the wrong branch but good thing we went early so we were still able to catch the tour.
Although it was a pity that I couldn't see Mt. Fuji on the day of the rain, the itinerary was very fulfilling throughout the day, and each point was very interesting. In just a few hours, I felt that I had experienced many activities only in Japan, and the day trip was very worthwhile. The leader and the driver are very kind, and the small group is also very small. Highly recommended! I would like to register for another trip next time. * Wind tunnels and ice caves need to grasp the handlebars. It is recommended to wear gloves (it's cold.)
The itinerary is rich, and the weather is great in winter. The blue sky is the most suitable to see the whole picture of Mt. Fuji. It can be explored by wind and ice caves in cold weather. The natural phenomenon is worth exploring! The explanation of the Sake factory is also detailed, and they understand that their family's 200 years of painstaking winemaking experience and the winemaking process, and how they use natural resources to operate and reduce environmental damage! In addition to wine tasting, the tour also gave us the opportunity to see the back garden. The unique Japanese traditional garden and the trees that have been over a hundred years old are amazing! After this wine tasting, I love Chunmi Yinjou, it's really natural and I can drink their kung fu! Lunch is eaten in a traditional Japanese noodle restaurant. The hot, knife-like thick noodles are served in a large pot. Although it is a vegetarian noodle soup, it is mixed with pumpkin and fish. The soup base is sweet and the portion is enough! The team leader is also kind and friendly. She can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and English, but she may not be able to express herself in foreign language communication. All in all the journey is very satisfying!
Because it is a winter join, it ’s freezing but it ’s not a win. Few people can take the same picture.
the activity was just right! we were able to see the magnificent Mt. Fuji on a clear day. There was no icicle on the ice cave but it is because the weather is not cool enough for it to form. The highlight was the sake tour! learned a lot about sake brewing and they even gave us free shot glass and postcards. Our guide is great too! I love that I don't feel rushed on all the places we've been. Totally recommended!
The fuji was great! The sky was crystal clear. But not enough time :( too short. The wind cave and ice cave is SUPER SMALL. And nothing extraordinary. I tought from the name WIND CAVE there will be sound or whatsoever something special. So small and short. The ICE CAVE was nothing like i imagined. Very very disappointing (the ice cave and wind cave). No wonder they only gave us like 30 mins there (because nothing to see). The food was pretty good. The portion is enormous I couldn’t finish it. The sake brewery was ok. We were trying 3 different sake and got the shot glass for for free as a souvenir. The tour guide kinda passive. She explained briefly.
Luckily we got to see Mr Fuji. So I'm sure this added to the trip. Meeting point very central and easy to find. Seems to be a meeting point for many different trips. Just ask any of the guides with flags and they will point you in the direction of your trip leader. The wind cave was icer than the ice cave, both a little underwhelming but still a fun activity. Followed by an awesome authentic lunch. After lunch we took a trip up to the viewing platform via cable car with spectacular views of the Mt and lake although not both together. We had plenty of time to explore the area. This then followed with the Sake brewery tour and Sake Tasting before travelling back. The guide was inforamtive, friendly and approachable and in all an extremely good day and good value for money. As I said at the beginning being able to see Mt Fuji added to the experience which is dependant on the weather, this is a risk you take when booking any trip like this. Overall would recommend.
Although there were problems with the car at the beginning, the director was very patient to help us deal with it at the end.
Very interesting. Guide was good and the various sights are amazing
