Yumeji Art Museum is the initial art museum that holds a collection of Takehisa Yumeji's works. In particular, Nikuhitsu-ga (肉筆画) is the largest and the best. The building was designed by Urabe Shizutaro in the style of Taisho period when Takehisa Yumeji was active. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, a new exhibition room that enables you to experience the world view of Yumeji, museum stores and a popular cafe called "are cafe" were constructed under the supervision of Eiji Mitooka in 2017. Special exhibitions held four times a year always exhibit works and Japanese folding screens that match the theme of the exhibition. In addition, there are art works by Yumeji that you can only appreciate here.
