Dieshuihe Waterfall

Diehui River Waterfall is located in Tengchong City, Baoshan, Yunnan Province. It is an extremely rare urban volcanic barrier lake waterfall in China and one of Tengchong's famous twelve scenic spots. When the Daying River flows through this area, it encounters a huge volcanic fault cliff, and the water cascades down from the 46-meter-high cliff into a deep pool.

At the scene, water splashes everywhere, the sound is like thunder, and the momentum is extremely magnificent. On sunny days, the rising mist often refracts a splendid seven-color rainbow, creating a dreamlike and amazing spectacle. Tourists can stand on the surrounding viewing platforms to experience the cool mist and strong visual impact brought by the waterfall up close.

In addition to the stunning natural waterfall landscape, the scenic area also contains rich cultural and historical heritage. Above the waterfall spans the Taiji Bridge, a stone bridge built during the Republic of China period, and an ancient and elegant waterfall-viewing pavilion is also built by the bridge.
