Absolutely loved how beautifully curated this museum is. Probably the finest ways to understand of the regions, cultures, customs and history. I wish the guides are a little more informed and don’t just say what is written, also many houses the guides were missing which i felt was a miss.
Very detailed oriented and informative museum. There were a lot of interactive features and learning tools in each exhibit. The staff was very helpful and guided accordingly. Recommend to visit.
good place, few people, air conditioning everywhere, but the museum is very big. 20 houses. you can get tired much earlier
Hige musuem to cover and closing time is way too early at 5pm as is Ramadan season now the place closes earlier than usual so no way to even cover 1/3 of the musuem even if u start early.
A fascinating journey through Dubai’s rich heritage! The Al Shindagha Museum is beautifully curated with immersive exhibits and traditional architecture. Very informative and a perfect cultural stop. Highly recommend for history lovers and families.
It's a long way to get there by train, but it's easy to get there by car. There was an easy-to-understand explanation of Dubai's history, so I stopped by. There is an abra nearby, so you can take a walk to the souk. The staff in the building were also kind and helpful.
This is the best place to experience Arab culture. The exhibition area is large, with each house having a different theme, like a treasure hunt. It introduces a wealth of knowledge, including perfumes, jewelry, food, marine resources, humanities and religion, pottery, poetry, and more, leaving you dazzled. In particular, there are workshops you can participate in where you can make perfume (I loved it!), necklaces, beaded items, and scented candles, definitely worth the ticket price. Browsing the exhibition and participating in a workshop takes about five hours.
Surprisingly very new and modern museum with 15 different houses to visit. Went on a weekday and got excursions for most of the houses which impressed me a lot. The houses have different activities and exhibitions which i found very interesting. Definitely worth a visit if you want to know more about Dubai history in a fun way.
