Chobe Park Day Safari: Day Trip, Safari drive & River Cruise
Chobe National Park in northern Botswana holds the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. The Chobe Day Tour combines a morning boat safari on the Chobe River with an afternoon game drive deep into the park — two completely different wildlife perspectives in one full day.
Lunch is served at a riverside lodge in Kasane (drinks are not included with lunch; soft drinks and bottled water are included with the activity; beer is not included). Then it is into the park for the afternoon game drive in an open 4x4. Experienced guides who know where to look for lions, leopards, and the seasonal movements of the herds.
Maximum 20 guests per tour. Hotel pickup from Livingstone, Zambia, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, and Kasane, Botswana. Duration: approx. 10 hours.
What to expect
Chobe in the northern part of Botswana is known for its rich variety in wildlife. You are very likely to see huge herds of elephant and Cape buffalo next to lions, leopards, wild dogs, jackals, hyenas, antelopes, zebras and hippos. Special in Chobe are the boat safaris, which allow you a close up look of the animals on the grasslands and the shores of the river.
This exciting day trip gives you both a land safari and a river safari in one trip. In the morning game drive, you’ll travel through Chobe National Park with experienced guides who help you find animals in the wild.
After lunch in Kasane, the adventure continues with a boat ride on the Chobe River.
