Whale Watching from Mirissa on Shared Boat

You will be met by our tour guide at Mirissa Harbour, where your Whale Watching Tour begins at 6.30 am. The boat journey takes around 2 hours to reach the deep waters of the Indian Ocean, a popular area for spotting whales. The crew will slow down near the sighting area and maintain a safe, responsible distance. Mirissa’s waters are home to blue whales, sperm whales, fin whales, occasional orcas, and dolphins on calm days. The best season is from December to April, when the sea is calmer.
