What to expect
Make your Hon Thom island day even more complete with a convenient underwater adventure right after your cable car ride. Instead of booking another tour or spending extra time traveling to a different island just for sea walking, you can enjoy sea walking or scuba diving directly on Hon Thom Island. Choose sea walking for a beginner-friendly experience with an oxygen helmet, or scuba diving for a deeper look at Phu Quoc’s colorful marine world. Guided by professional instructors, you’ll get close to coral reefs and tropical fish in an easy, memorable way. Optional underwater photos and videos are available. Please note: this activity takes place after you arrive on Hon Thom by cable car. Cable car tickets are not included unless stated in your selected package.
Reviews
Even if you can't swim, you can safely experience the underwater walk and feed fish for the first time. This includes photos and videos. Although it's only a little over ten minutes and not cheap, it's definitely worth it!
There will be staff waiting at the Mango Restaurant. We recommend adding the vendor's WhatsApp before your trip to communicate. You'll first take a speedboat to an offshore platform, where there will be a Chinese-speaking assistant. When you dive, the ear pressure will be significant, so you must equalize the pressure by pinching your nose and blowing gently. After that, you'll have a great time.
Overall a really cool experience but kept getting pushed into the coral by the divers. Video wasn't great with the water being stirred up. Change rooms on the pontoon were not great as I think people were peeing in the cubicles as there were gaps in the floor boards where you can see the sea below.
Super fun and super convenient we love it!!! 10/10.
