Reviews
1) Changes with the scheduled time of the visit. The time changed from the slot we had initially booked, but the agent contacted us through WhatsApp a few days before to give us a heads-up about the changes. 2) Smooth trip, with a group of 11 people. It is a SKIP-THE-LINE ticket, so very little waiting time. 3) First, you'll visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Breathtaking sights. The Cesars' Palace, the Basilica, temples, etc. 4) Lastly, the Coloseum. 5) In total, the visit lasted 2h50, from 10.30am to 1.20pm. 6) The guide, Elena, was friendly and also a bit sassy, a fun touch to the commentary she gave us along the way! We would recommend it as your first time in Rome, so you can have a good look at two main landmarks in the city.
First time been Colosseum, it’s so magnificent and impressive. The tour guide was professional and we understood well the history of the building. The only improvement point is that the guidelines stated in Klook voucher aren’t that cleared. The were 2 meeting points and times. 1st meeting point was 20min away from Colosseo metro station, where was tourist office, to exchange a voucher, grab a map and watched the video of Ancient Rome. Thereafter, back to 2nd meeting point which was the one closed to the metro station, as stated in the Klook guideline. We were confused by the guidelines. Also, wasted our time to search here and there.
The weather is not good, the 39-degree weather and the haze make the whole photo look like it is covered with a layer of gray dust. Fortunately, there are many points where you can replenish water, and it is also cold!
Definitely a must during your Rome visit. The Roman Forum and Colosseum were magnificent, and I was lost for words at their beauties. The tour guide was really friendly and knew a lot of stories behind each place. She even brought a book to help us see the previous looks of each place (back in their glory days). There’s a lot of walking so be prepared with comfy shoes. :)
The meeting point is clear, the staff are clearly dressed, and the tour guide explains passionately. It is a very suitable itinerary experience.
All the way to the Roman Colosseum, there are so many monuments and history, it is worth a visit, but the tour guide’s English is a bit Italian, haha, listen carefully
The tour was great and very informative. Ala, our tour guide explained very well and accommodating. Don’t miss this tour when you are in Rome.
The tour guide was interesting and lively and made the guided tour informative and easily absorbable. Makes me easily imagine how life is like in the past. Even today, it is good to hear that the places are still ‘alive’ when they are used to host events. The colosseum is also a good place to take instagrammable pictures! :)
The tour guide explained carefully and reminded everyone to buy water and wear a hat before setting off on a very sunny day. There is almost no sound in the first 20 minutes of the film.
Very informative trip, delivered in an engaging way. Great to get the view of a city from a native Roman. I would recommend this trip,as especially for Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, if I wasn’t on a tour where it was explained to me the significance of such places and how it would have looked then doubt I would have appreciated it as much.
