Fishermans Catch Buffet Dinner by The Merchant at La Festa Phu Quoc

Grabbing dinner (especially if you’re really hungry) here was worth it especially if you’re also wanting to catch the Symphony of the Sea show. View is slightly obstructed but if you’re mainly after the fireworks, they’re a good distance away to appreciate it. Good selection of food - loved the grilled seafood section the best, came back multiple times! Delicious dessert too. Staff were also friendly and helpful. On our visit, we were given 1/2 of a lobster per person. Do note you have to pay extra for soft drinks and beer but water, coffee and tea are included in the buffet.

The entrance and exit weren't clearly marked, so it took a long time to find them, and I had to ask for directions to finally get in. The food was average, and the seating environment was also average. However, the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. They even brought a small birthday cake and sang "Happy Birthday." The service was great, but the facilities, such as the restroom, only had two stalls and didn't feel like a five-star hotel.

The food was plentiful and unique (e.g., whole grilled horse mackerel, grilled octopus), and the restaurant's location offered a very close view of the Symphony of the Seas. We mentioned to the hotel that we were celebrating Father's Day, and they arranged a celebratory dessert. The only minor complaint was the limited drink options.
