Kyoto: Hozugawa River Half-day White Water Rafting Experience

One of the best things we did on our trip!! Everything is provided which is amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful! The route is beautiful and the rapids are not so extreme. If you're thinking about booking, I would highly highly reccommend it!!

This trip was an incredible value for money! My friend said this activity was the best part of our Kyoto trip, and we truly had a fantastic time. Yo is an amazing instructor, with clear explanations and an impressive presence. He was incredibly attentive to every detail, which made us feel very comfortable and safe. We're so glad we chose this experience; afterwards, we both agreed it would have been worth double the price. In addition to all the activities described – whitewater rafting, cliff jumping, swimming, and sightseeing – which were thrilling and liberating, the instructors also took many precious and beautiful photos for us, which we wouldn't have been able to capture ourselves. Since we had planned to take the 5:43 PM scenic train after the activity, Yo thoughtfully guided us on how to get there and made sure we had plenty of time to reach the station. This experience is definitely worth more than five stars! 🥰

This rafting experience was one of the highlights of our Osaka trip. The activity was well organised, and the instructors made us feel safe throughout while still keeping the adventure exciting and fun. Our instructors, Rosan and Milan, were professional, friendly, and had a great sense of humour. They joked with the group frequently, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere from start to finish. One of the optional activities was a cliff jump into the river. My son decided to do it, while I chose to stay on the raft. It turned out to be his favourite activity of the entire trip and something he will remember for a long time. The scenery along the river was beautiful, and the rafting route provided a good balance of excitement and safety. Whether you are travelling with friends or family, I would highly recommend this experience. It was an unforgettable adventure and excellent value for money.

We had such an amazing time white water rafting! My 5th time and definitely the prettiest views yet! We saw wild monkeys on the side of the river, the rapids were exciting but not too challenging! Highly recommend booking with this company.

INCREDIBLE! this was highlight of my trip! to get in the river during the sweltering heat was a joy. the guide was amazing and we plates lots of games that kept the whole trip fun. I like higher grade rapids but still enjoyed myself a lot.
