What to expect
Enoshima: Located in the Shonan sea area of Kanagawa Prefecture, it is a picturesque isolated island famous for the fusion of nature and culture. A cross-sea bridge connects it to Honshu, like a colorful ribbon leading to a dreamland. The island is lush with green trees, and winding paths lead to Enoshima Shrine, dedicated to the sea god and beautiful legends. Enoshima Shrine: An ancient shrine with a thousand-year history, composed of three main halls: Hetsunomiya, Nakatsunomiya, and Okutsunomiya, dedicated to the sea god and Benzaiten, the guardian goddess of beautiful legends. Kamakura High School: A symbol of youth where romance and vitality coexist. The school is adjacent to Kamakura-kōkō-mae Station, and the classic railway crossing left an eternal moment of youth and dreams in “Slam Dunk,” becoming a sacred place in the hearts of countless tourists. Shonan Coast: It’s where the small train slowly passes through the quaint streets of Kamakura, where you hear the sound of rolling waves lying on the beach, where you feel the sea breeze as a motorcycle roars and accelerates, it’s Hanamichi Sakuragi’s devotion to Haruko, it’s sentiment, it’s passion. Enoden Experience at Kamakura-kōkō-mae Station: Enoden is a tram that connects Fujisawa to Kamakura. The scene of the speeding train is often seen in many Japanese movies and animated works, and has become a unique landscape. Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine: The shrine is built against a mountain, with a solemn layout, and the main hall and dance hall are particularly spectacular. Cherry blossoms bloom in spring, ginkgo trees turn golden in autumn, and the scenery varies with the seasons, making it a delightful place to linger. It is not only a sacred place for prayers and seeking good fortune, but also an excellent place to understand traditional Japanese culture and history. Komachi-dori: The street is lined with various shops, offering everything from traditional wagashi and handicrafts to trendy cafes and specialty restaurants. Kamakura Daibutsu (Great Buddha): A famous national treasure-level cultural heritage of Japan, located within Kotoku-in Temple in Hase, Kamakura City. This bronze Buddha statue is about 11.3 meters high and weighs 121 tons, built in the 13th century, symbolizing compassion and wisdom.
