A family of four booked a 7-seater minivan for a day trip, visiting Takayama Inari Shrine, Hakkoda Mountains, Oirase Stream, and Lake Towada. Every scenic spot was stunning, and the whole family had a great time. The driver, Mr. Sato, was a kind and affable Japanese gentleman who drove very well and was very polite. We even encountered a wild fox along the way, and he thoughtfully stopped the car to let us take pictures. Overall, this chartered day trip was very enjoyable and worthwhile.

Mount Hakkoda has a high elevation, and the temperature is 5-8℃ lower than in the city. The weather in the mountains is also changeable, so it is recommended to bring a windproof jacket, comfortable non-slip hiking shoes, and rain gear.
The Oirase Stream Trail has many gravel and gentle slopes, so be careful to control your speed when cycling. When hiking, it is recommended to bring mosquito repellent to avoid mosquito bites.
When taking a boat to enjoy the scenery on Lake Towada, please follow the instructions of the crew and wear life-saving equipment throughout the entire journey. It is windy by the lake, so be careful to keep your mobile phones, cameras, and other personal belongings safe when taking pictures.
