One-day tour of Fuji Safari Park, Oshino Hakkai, and Oishi Park

- The flower sea of Oishi Park is gorgeous, framing the superb view of Fuji
- Explore the southern foot of Mount Fuji and encounter nature and living things
What to expect
This activity deeply explores the southern foot of Mount Fuji, integrating wildlife interaction, World Heritage culture, and stunning flower scenery, breaking the conventional sightseeing model and bringing a dual impact of visual and natural experiences. The text describes a tour. The first stop is FUJI SAFARI PARK, one of Japan's largest wildlife parks, with an open design. A jungle bus travels through the wild animal area (allowing close-up feeding), and the interaction area allows close contact with capybaras and other small animals, with the magnificent Mount Fuji in the background. The second stop is Oshino Hakkai: Oshino Hakkai has a flat and open terrain, making it one of the best places to photograph the "reflection of Mount Fuji." Especially when the weather is clear, the majestic appearance of Mount Fuji is reflected in the calm spring pool, creating a very layered effect. The third stop is Oishi Park: an excellent viewing spot on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi, where seasonal flower fields (tulips, lavender, etc.) and Mount Fuji appear in the same frame, combined with the lake and mountain scenery, making it suitable for leisure and scenic viewing.

Reviews
We had a great day visiting Fuji Safari Park, Oshino Hakkai, and Lake Kawaguchi with our guide, Niklaus G. Since we were the only guests, he picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. The van was comfortable and it was fun chatting on the drive. Despite rain most of the morning, we still had a fantastic time. Niklaus adjusted our itinerary due to the weather, and our final stop at Lake Kawaguchi was great with swans along the beach. We thought Mt. Fuji would be hidden all day, but it appeared while we were at Oshino Hakkai! Tip: Pre-book Fuji Safari Park admission and safari bus tickets online. The 11:00 AM safari bus is a great option, giving time to check in and explore. Tickets are cheaper online, and admission is free during your birthday month.
The trip was value for money. A comfortable ride and all promissed stops were covered. The only challenge being that we couldn’t get tickets for safari and had to walk around 2.5 km to cover the zoo. But it was a good experience with nice views of Mt Fuji.
kim is the best guiding very friendly and answering all questions
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with a recent excursion I participated in. Prior to the tour, it was clearly stated that due to a strict schedule the group would not wait for late participants; however, this policy was not enforced. A portion of the group arrived late at the meeting point and the guide waited for them, causing delays from the start. This continued throughout the day, as people repeatedly returned late and no action was taken. This disrupted the schedule and affected my experience. At the second stop we were supposed to have 1 hour 30 minutes but only received about 50 minutes, and at the third stop 40 minutes became about 30. A tour meant to enjoy scenery, food, and relax instead felt rushed and stressful. I am very disappointed with how this was handled and request this matter be reviewed.
