What to expect
If you only have one day and want to visit both Kyoto and Nara, this day trip is definitely your best choice! It accurately covers the 3 most representative must-visit attractions in the two cities, allowing you to take in the ancient charm of Kyoto and the dynamism of Nara in a limited amount of time. A fried chicken set meal (including fried chicken, side dishes, miso soup, pickles, and rice) is provided during a limited period!!!
At 8:40, meet at Exit 2 of Nipponbashi, which is close to the Namba Shinsaibashi area, with convenient transportation and a vibrant local atmosphere. After a short wait, a fulfilling day trip begins. Departing from the front sightseeing bus parking lot at Hachijo Exit of Kyoto Station at 9:50 sharp.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple As a landmark of Kyoto, Kiyomizu-dera Temple is built on a mountain. The vermilion wooden buildings are particularly eye-catching in the mountains. Standing on the suspended stage, you can overlook the panoramic view of the ancient city of Kyoto. When the cherry blossoms bloom in spring, the petals fall on your shoulders. In autumn, the red leaves reflect the ancient temple like fire. Every photo is a beautiful picture. You can also stroll through the century-old shops in the surrounding alleys and taste freshly made Japanese sweets.
Fushimi Inari Shrine The 70 minutes of free time is enough for you to immerse yourself in the shock of “Senbon Torii”. The continuous vermilion torii gates form a passage to the top of the mountain. The sunlight shines through the gaps in the torii gates, and the interlaced light and shadow seem to step into a magical secret realm. You can stroll along the mountain road, encounter small shrines hidden in the forest, or pray with local believers.
Nara Park Groups of deer will docilely surround you. Give them deer crackers and you will receive their bowing greetings. Sit on the lawn and interact with the deer, and you can easily take photos full of healing.
Todai-ji Temple The Great Buddha Hall in Todai-ji Temple is the largest wooden building in the world. The huge bronze Buddha statue in the hall is majestic and the details are exquisitely carved, showing the charm of the Tang Dynasty architectural style.
The whole journey has a moderate pace, allowing you to enjoy historical sites and experience the collision of nature and culture, allowing you to gain a lot in one day.

Eigai was an amazing tour guide. We had a blast exploring, Kyoto and Nara. He gave us personalized recommendations for the day, and even gave us the best route to make it back home. The ride was smooth, the group was very well prepared. Would definitely book another trip with this group, and recommend to friends.
Thank you, David, for leading our tour and showing us around Kyoto and Nara!
I highly recommend this tour for families with children or anyone who prefers not to transfer between locations. Our tour guide, Mika, was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. At each attraction, she even helped everyone take photos and recommended great places to eat. Just a heads-up: if your package includes the fried chicken set meal, you won't need to buy your own lunch! The fried chicken set includes fried chicken, white rice, salad, a side dish, and soup.
Many thanks to Mr. Gu, our tour guide. The trip was very comfortable and enjoyable, and he also helped us resolve issues.
Our tour guide, Mika Kim, was very dedicated in explaining the attractions and proactively helped our family take group photos. She was very responsible, and even checked in with us after we returned to Hong Kong. Our family had a wonderful experience, and we are very grateful for her arrangements.
Thank you to our Tour Guide, Jessica! 😘
Our experience is great but we were not able to get our fried chicken set meal.
It was not a guided tour, it was just transportation.
