Marvelous exhibition about Dali and his work! They did have a mini game also, with the help of friendly staff there also.

Guide

  • Step into the century-old Bund Old City Hall and immerse yourself in the charm of surrealism.
  • Over 150 pieces of Dalí sculptures, jewelry, glass, and prints are presented together.
  • Multiple pieces with Dalí's autograph and rare works making their debut in China.
  • Classic imagery like "The Persistence of Memory" (melting clocks) engages in a wonderful dialogue with the historical architectural space.
  • Dreams and reality intertwine, creating a unique artistic experience journey.
  • "Dalí x Old City Hall: The Journey" will grandly open on November 11, 2025, at the Bund Old City Hall, with the exhibition running until March 10, 2026.
  • Where dreams and reality converge in the urban fabric, the surrealist master Salvador Dalí is about to embark on a new chapter in this century-old building in Shanghai. From melting clocks to flowing forms, Dalí's fantastical world will resonate wonderfully with the historical space of the Bund. Named "The Journey," the exhibition not only pays tribute to Dalí's endless artistic exploration but also allows the Old City Hall, a building carrying urban memories, to set off anew in the light and shadow of art.
  • This exhibition will bring together over 150 masterpieces of sculpture, jewelry, glass, and prints, including multiple pieces with Dalí's autograph and rare exhibits making their debut in China. Within the space of the century-old building, dreams and reality, history and the present intertwine into a "dual journey" of art and the city.
