Semporna Islands Day Trip

Myself and my friend really enjoyed this tour. The boat ride was smooth compared to previous tours we have experienced. As we already have experience swimming and snorkeling it was fun to hop straight in and enjoy the beautiful reef. Please remember to wear reef friendly sunscreen to protect the reef :)

Everything was great! When booking you have to send a WhatsApp to confirm the reservation, although we didn't see it and they sent us a message anyway. On-time departure from the meeting point. Easy to find and good communication with the company. We picked up people at the beach resorts. There were 8 of us on the boat with plenty of space. Wonderful snorkelling, there are three points to do it. There is no beach area, everything is snorkelling except for eating. The food was okay (ask for a vegetarian option the night before). Friendly and attentive staff. Unlimited bottled water. I would recommend it 100% quality-price is the best compared to other companies that offer the same at a higher price.

The morning meeting place, separate guide, tour program, and lunch box were all explained kindly and in detail, and it was a good memory. GUIDE - AZMIL kindly guided and guided us, which made our time more enjoyable.

Lovely crew and organised operation. The islands and snorkelling spots are stunning, very worthwhile experience.

The tour guide was very kind, he kept taking pictures for us and taught us how to pose🤭 Although it rained that day and we couldn't see many fish when snorkeling, he took us to chase turtles😆 and successfully checked in with turtles. And the rainbow after the heavy rain was super beautiful!!!

The tour itself is absolutely not worth the price. It was supposed to start at 8:30 AM, but by 9:35 AM, we were still at the pier waiting. After that, we boarded the boat, which then went around picking up other tourists from different resorts. We finally arrived at the first island at 11:30 AM. Out of a seven-hour tour, five were spent on the boat and only two on actual activities. The view from the first island was nice but nothing compared to other places in the Philippines or Indonesia. Chinese tourists were blasting their music loudly during the hike and at the viewpoint, which ruined the experience. The second island stop was the only good part of the trip. The lunch offered was not a real meal: just one bottle of hot water and a plastic container with rice, watermelon, and a tiny piece of chicken—we didn’t even eat it. In general, all the plastic used on the islands seems to end up polluting the beaches. They market these islands as a hidden gem, but in reality, they don’t take care of them at all. Overall, a huge disappointment—definitely not worth the price.

Spent two hours collecting people from resorts before actually departing for the tour a small speedboat crammed with 15 people barely any space to turn around or even place bags on a seat instead of the floor first stop Spit Island completely overrun by Chinese tourists taking over the locals’ small boats just to pose for photos absolutely embarrassing all the islands are covered in plastic no effort to maintain these places or preserve the very thing that brings them tourism which are the islands themselves at the snorkeling spots they drop the anchor directly onto the corals and bring Chinese tourists with inflatable rings letting them step all over the corals and even on top of turtles as they try to resurface for air zero respect for nature overall we didn’t enjoy this experience at all definitely not worth it

There was not much explanation, everything was in Malay, time management was too lax, the sea itself was beautiful but the beauty of it was not conveyed at all, the captain and other staff were always smoking even though there were guests on the boat, so it smelled of cigarettes and was tough! Seafood was readily available, but it was not tasty and I was given a boring lunch box! It was too haphazard and a waste of money and time, I can't recommend it.

We did not have a chance to go to the trip. I called the number given by me several times but not response. I arrived at the pier on that time at around 8:30 am but no one was waiting for me. I asked all the companies in the pier but no one said it was the company, Then at around 9 am I got a call back from a woman saying that the bost has gone and we will not be able to go because we did not respong to her whatsapp. This is ridiculous, my phone number given to you is not my whatsapp.
