I recently visited the Natural History Museum of the abu dhabi , and it was a very educational and memorable experience. The museum is well-organized, clean, and peaceful, making it a perfect place to learn about history, culture, and art.
My visit to the Natural History Museum was easily the highlight of my week. From the moment you walk into the main atrium, the sheer scale of the architecture—especially the iconic "Tree of Life" structure or the massive hanging whale skeleton—leaves you breathless. Whether you're a science nerd or just looking for an "Instagram-worthy" spot, this museum is a must-see in 2026. It’s an educational "oasis" that makes complex natural history feel vibrant and relevant.
Must visit for Paleo entusiasts and kids aged 5-10. Multiple activities to keep them engaging for the 2 hrs. A good mix of fossil and staged animals both extinct and current ones.
Absolutely amazing! totally worth it! If I have friends or guests that will visit Abu Dhabi, this will be the on the top of the list. If you like dinosaurs, big bang theory, evolution theory and basically animal topics in general. Well, this is the museum to go to.
just wow, it's like you're in a movie. The place is amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. a great place for the family.
very nice experience. it’s not a small museum and the exhibits and staff are amazing. highly recommended.
What a fun experience at Natural History Museum! Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Abu Dhabi. We went during a national holiday and still it wasn’t entirely crowded and we found parking quite easily. Highly recommend!
must visit museum. it’s divided into different galaxies. There is something special for kids in each galaxy. T-Rex fossil was a highlighting one. You will see actual size of all the displayed animals compared to a human being. Galaxies are divided into Dinasourous, human evolution, plants, insects, future, climatic conditional change, Earth formation. Also you will get to touch some of the meteor that have landed on earth over the past years.

Opened on 22 November 2025, this stunning new museum on Saadiyat Cultural District in Abu Dhabi spans 35,000 m², making it the largest natural history museum of its kind in the region. Step into an immersive journey across 13.8 billion years of life on Earth from the Big Bang and the formation of our solar system, through the evolution of dinosaurs and the rich biodiversity of today, and into thinking about the planet’s future. Key exhibits include “Stan”, a nearly complete 11-metre-tall Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton, a 25-metre female blue whale specimen, and the ancient Murchison Meteorite with grains older than our solar system. Galleries such as The Story of Earth, The Evolving World, Our World, Resilient Planet, and Earth’s Future anchor the visitor experience, all designed through an “Arabian lens” that highlights the fauna, flora and geological past of the Arabian Peninsula. Architecturally conceived by Mecanoo, the building itself takes cues from natural rock formations you engage with nature before you even walk in. Families, school groups and museum-lovers will find interactive zones, immersive theatres, and a full research programme behind the scenes so consider this both a day out and a learning excursion
