started with a video on peranakan history. it’s a demo class so you are seated while chef cooks. then there chef is very good at sharing the insider tips on how to treat the ingredients etc. be sure to bring a pen. about 8pax for my class a comfortable size. you get a goodie bag at the end as well of nyonya kueh and a mug
I brought my elderly mom to attend this Peranakan demo cooking class. She liked it. It was enjoyable, informational and she learned a new skill. We had a chance to taste the yummy food. There are seats available so this class is very suitable for elderly. The instructions are in both mandarin and english. We were given some nonya kueh and a nice cup to bring home. Thumbs up to all who was working there who was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this class to anyone. Thank you for allowing me to sit in the class to company my elderly mom. I plan to sign up for some cooking classes at ToTT at i12 Mall, it has a conducive environment.
Great experience learning more about peranakan heritage and enjoying delicious peranakan food! Highly recommend!
english translator not good enough, listing could use better language, it was so ambiguous i thought it was a cooking class not demo
It was a great experience attending the cooking class. I especially loved the meatballs as they were easy to prepare and very tasty. Overall, I am happy to have learned two different Nonya dishes.
the chef explanation was good and we have an English translator while the chef speaks in Mandrain. demo was very well done and the food taste fantastic.
