Miluo and Dongting Lake small group day trip including tickets

07:30-08:00 Gather at the designated location and depart for a happy day trip to Yueyang (The tour guide will contact you before 20:30 the day before. Please keep your phone accessible. The time will be delayed on weekends, holidays, and peak tourist seasons, please understand).

08:00-10:00 Take a bus to the spiritual home of Chinese people and the holy land of Chinese poetry culture—[Miluo] (about 2 hours' drive).

10:00-12:00 Visit [Quzi Cultural Park] (including round-trip battery car) Introduction: Quzi Cultural Park is a place to pay tribute to the great patriotic poet Qu Yuan, integrating commemoration, education, and sightseeing. The park has a long history and is full of poetry. It is an excellent place to explore Chu culture and remember the sages.

12:00-13:00 Go to a local restaurant for lunch and taste the special Miluo flavor.

13:00-14:30 Go to the northern gate of Hunan, a famous Chinese historical and cultural city—[Yueyang] (about 1.5 hours' drive).

14:30-15:40 Visit [Yueyang Tower] - “Dongting Lake is the water of the world, Yueyang Tower is the tower of the world” (about 60 minutes) Introduction: Yueyang Tower, Yueyang’s star attraction, is located on the bank of Dongting Lake. It has stood for thousands of years and is the parade building of Lu Su of the Eastern Wu during the Three Kingdoms period. It is known as one of the three famous buildings in Jiangnan along with the Yellow Crane Tower and the Tengwang Pavilion, and Yueyang Tower is the only historical site among them that retains its original Qing Dynasty structure!

15:40-16:00 View [Dongting Lake] - China’s second largest freshwater lake, “Yunmengze” Introduction: Dongting Lake, China’s second largest freshwater lake, is known as “800 miles of Dongting Lake”. It is vast and sparkling, like a huge emerald inlaid on the land of Hunan. Since ancient times, many literati have been fascinated by it, and it is a true portrayal of “Vast and mighty, boundless” in “Yueyang Tower”!

16:00-16:30 Visit [Bianhe Street] - a pedestrian street with the ancient charm of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (about 30 minutes)

16:30-19:00 After the tour, take a bus back to Changsha Railway Station to end the pleasant trip.
