Shirahama Beach & ToreTore Market Full-Day Small Group Tour

Our tour guide, Juanjie, confirmed the departure time with us the day before the trip and picked us up from the hotel right on time the next day. This itinerary was relatively long, but Juanjie's excellent driving skills made the journey very smooth. On a clear day, Shirahama Beach and Senjojiki are quite picturesque, while Sandanbeki is slightly less impressive than the other two. Engetsu Island is just a filler attraction where you can only take a photo from a distance. The only part of the trip that wasn't great was the Toyota car provided; the seats were uncomfortable, causing back pain, and the ride was quite bumpy (four out of the five of us experienced pain).

If you're heading to Shirahama, definitely choose this itinerary! It skips the cat station manager, but offers way more to do with its focus on natural scenery. Senjojiki Cliff will remind you of Dave the Diver, and Shirarahama Beach has water as clear as glass – bring your swimsuit so you can take a dip! There's a free rinsing station, so don't rush to spend money on the row of showers run by locals. The beach has free chairs and umbrellas. We strolled along the beach, stopping here and there, and didn't feel hot at all, even under the strong sun. Lots of people were sunbathing. As you leave the beach, there's a free foot bath you can soak in, but we didn't have time since we had to hurry to the next spot, Engetsu Island. Our guide, Ultraman, taught us an exclusive photo pose – so much fun! I recommend finding him for your tour; he has a northeastern accent and is hilarious. After checking off all the spots, we headed back to Osaka. We enjoyed every single attraction so much that we've decided to do a deep dive into Shirahama next time.

Thank you to driver Oka Toshiya. He is a polite and friendly young man. Thanks for driving from morning till night. His Chinese is very good. There were only two people on this tour, and communication with the driver was good, with direct hotel pick-up and drop-off. This route is relatively leisurely. You can slowly soak in a hot spring, then have a meal at the seafood market, and enjoy the beautiful scenery until dusk. Not bad! Thank you, Mr. Oka Toshiya!

It was really wise not to go see the cat stationmaster. The market was so great to explore, and we even caught a tuna carving demonstration! I also bought a box of otoro (tuna belly), which was really delicious and had a great price-performance ratio. Then we checked off the Conan-themed spots: Senjojiki, Sandanbeki, Shirahama Beach, and Engetsu Island. I can only say the animation is so realistic 👍. Of course, I also want to thank today's guide and driver, Wang, who very professionally explained the attractions and popular science cultural knowledge to us. Overall, it was an unforgettable and meaningful day trip.

If you're visiting Wakayama, you absolutely must choose this itinerary! After removing the cat stationmaster, you'll have more time to "catch all" the fun attractions in Shirahama. I think this itinerary offers a lot of enjoyment. We arrived at the Toretore Market just in time for lunch and the tuna filleting show, and we had plenty of time. After eating, we visited four seaside attractions consecutively. Our driver and guide this time, Oka-san, was a very friendly and easygoing person. He drove quietly, and upon arrival at each destination, he would tell us how to get around and what time to meet, which was very thoughtful. Thumbs up! 👍🏻

An excellent day trip experience to Shirahama, Wakayama! Our driver and guide, Master Wen, was very enthusiastic, provided thoughtful service, and had a cheerful and generous personality, always responsible and diligent. Shirarahama Beach offers beautiful scenery and is well worth the visit. The tuna cutting show at the seafood market is a must-see! The Senjojiki and Sandanbeki cliffs in the afternoon were also great. Overall, it was a very cost-effective trip!

The Shirahama day trip experience was excellent! Although it was a group tour price, there were only two of us that day, so we got to experience a private car service. Our driver and guide, Master Ai, was very professional and enthusiastic. He introduced us to the local customs and culture along the way and thoughtfully attended to our needs. I highly recommend Master Ai!

Today's trip was very comfortable, the bus was comfortable, and Mr. Wang was very considerate.

Our tour only had 3 guests and we were picked up by a Toyota van, the most luxurious experience we've ever had among all the klook Japan tours we participated before. The driver Mr. Hanazawa is a quiet and reliable guy. The spots are particularly suitable for those who love seeing the ocean / coastal scenery. With the excellent weather we experienced, we have had a great time.

The driver was very kind and polite, and the service was excellent. I'll choose Klook again next time.
