What to expect

Experience Korean traditional liquor culture in the heart of Jeju’s old town near Dongmun Market. At Jeju Hanjan, enjoy a guided tasting of Korean traditional liquors produced by local breweries across the island. Guests taste a selection including makgeolli (takju), yakju, distilled soju, and a Jeju-style highball made with local spirits and ingredients such as tangerine and buckwheat. Small Jeju-inspired finger foods are served to demonstrate how traditional liquors pair with local flavors. The experience also includes storytelling about Jeju’s brewing culture and ingredients through multimedia content. After the tasting, visitors can explore around 50 kinds of Jeju traditional liquors available in the shop and receive discounts on Jeju Hanjan miniature liquor sets and souvenirs.
