Good to know
- Departure and Assembly Rules It is recommended to arrive at the designated departure location at least 30 minutes in advance. The doors will close 15 minutes before departure. All trips will depart on time. If tourists do not arrive on time, it will be regarded as a “NO SHOW”, and no rescheduling or refund will be given.
- Group Formation and Mandarin Guidance Rules Mandarin day trips have a minimum number of participants required to form a group. If the minimum number is not reached, the following may occur: departure in the same group and car with both Chinese and English speakers; if the trip is cancelled, we will notify you in advance, and you can choose to join the English tour of the same route on the same day, join other Mandarin tours that can be formed, or apply for a full refund. Mandarin tour guide services are usually available during the peak tourist season in the UK (May–September). In rare cases, if the minimum number is not reached the day before departure, a free ticket refund will be provided, or you can switch to an English tour or other Mandarin tour guide group that can be formed.
- Ticket Types and Identity Requirements When purchasing elderly or student discount tickets, you need to bring your identity certificate on the day of the tour, otherwise you may be refused the discounted ticket. Children’s tickets must be accompanied by at least one adult and cannot be booked separately. Adult tickets are for ages 17–59, children’s tickets are for ages 3–16, and student tickets require a valid student ID on the day of booking and travel.
- Itinerary and Transportation Arrangements Due to UK laws regarding driver working hours, if the tour returns to London after 7:45 PM, you will be taken to Gloucester Road Underground Station instead of Victoria. The driver will drop you off a few minutes’ walk from the subway station. Gloucester Road is located in Zone 1, 3 subway stops from Victoria. You can take the Piccadilly Line to Piccadilly Circus, which is only 5 stops away. The tour sequence on the day is subject to the arrangement of the driver/guide.
- Attraction Closure Notice Windsor Castle is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday; Windsor Castle is an operating royal castle, and some venues may be closed at any time according to royal needs, subject to the opening situation on the day. St. George’s Chapel is closed every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday, and will be viewed from the outside instead. During the closure of attractions, the itinerary will be changed to exterior viewing.
- Expenses Not Included Attraction tickets (if you need to include tickets, please select the product including tickets when booking), full meal expenses, driver/guide tips (given at your discretion), travel insurance (please purchase in advance).
