Chiang Mai Pon Elephant & Bamboo Rafting Full-Day Small Group Tour

I really enjoyed going to the elephant sanctuary. The tour guide, Chat, was really good. The refreshing rain was really nice to bathe in. The waterfall was truly beautiful. The rafting activity was really amazing. Everything is good and follows the time.

The tour guide's humorous and engaging explanations helped me better understand the characteristics of Asian elephants. Highly recommend this must-do experience in Chiang Mai, a rare opportunity. You can choose whether or not to play with the elephants in the water (you will get completely wet), and during the subsequent bamboo rafting, your lower body will definitely get wet. For shoes, you can bring flip-flops and wear comfortable shoes that are easy to change into at any time, or you can just wear flip-flops the entire time, like I did. Solo traveler friendly! 08:00 pick me up - 8:20 pick up other group members, including those meeting at the gathering point, and depart, driving towards the mountains - 9:45 Play with elephants - 11:00 Make vitamin balls - 11:50 Lunch (chicken curry/appetizing cold vegetable salad/chicken nuggets/watermelon) - 12:30 Head to a small waterfall to play in the water - 13:30 Rafting, a fun experience, very chill and peaceful, experience the tranquility of the small town drifting on the river - Around 16:00 Return to the city. Unfortunately, the driver forgot to take me back to the hotel, so I had to get back on my own.

For this tour, the Thai receptionist was already waiting in the lobby bright and early. His name is Suriya, and he was very professional and polite, constantly keeping us updated and explaining things. Lunch was decent. The entire tour was excellent.

Such an amazing experience! Our guide, Sumit, was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the entire tour. He made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time with the elephants and bamboo rafting. Definitely one of the highlights of my Chiang Mai trip. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The guide is a very nice and very knowledgeable. should book if you want something fun to do. it’s a whole day itinerary. we bathed, feed, took pics, and touch them. the place also fed us. there is a little bit of a hike so wear comfortable shoes because my legs were shaking at the end.

A must do in chaing mai, the elephants are free an well looked after. The water falls and raft ride were so nice an refreshing and the staff were very informative an amazing people.

This was a fantastic parent-child experience! Our guide, Jimmy, was incredibly professional and enthusiastic, and interacting with the elephants was a truly moving experience. The bamboo rafting in the afternoon was relaxing, pleasant, and fun.

Fantastic experience. My husband and I took our 4 children along and everyone had a great time. Our tour guide, “Sugar”, was really friendly and helpful. The elephants were really well treated and the day was really well organised as we moved through the activities and elephants stations. We’ve done many activities in Chiang Mai and this has to be one of the best. I can highly recommend.
