What to expect

Sengokuteien Garden, featuring famous stones, megaliths, and bizarre rocks from across Japan, opened in 2023 in the Takaya area of Higashihiroshima City.

Distinct from traditional, time-worn Japanese gardens, the bright landscape evokes the birth of a different world, unfolding across a vast four-hectare garden.

This garden, which is making waves in the landscaping world, is also the first garden stone registered museum in Japan, certified by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. The Japanese garden is full of seasonal beauty, with plum and cherry blossoms in the spring, vibrant fresh greenery, crape myrtle blooming in the summer, and beautiful autumn foliage in the fall.

Please feel free to visit this garden where families can enjoy the entire day with various other facilities such as a BBQ site, athletic field, and restaurant.
