Ganesha Temple Tour: Wat Paknam, Wat Saman (Pink Ganesha)

The guide and driver were incredibly kind and gentle, and even though I was alone, I made the best memories! ♡ The guide is wonderful, they take lots of pictures, the car is cool and comfortable, and it was a fun day from start to finish ♪ If you're hesitating, you should definitely go! ♡ Thank you so much!

The tour content was good, but the guide didn't seem to keep track of time, and at the last place we visited, a monk was chanting, so we couldn't go inside. The tour description mentioned a water service, but we didn't receive it until the end. I was asked, "Would you like water?" but I had my own drink at the time. I didn't expect not to receive it at all. During lunch, things we didn't order were added to the order, and we were even made to pay for the guide's water. I don't know why. Things we didn't want were ordered without our permission, and we were forced to order them because they were "delicious." The guide was fluent in Japanese and friendly, but too pushy and presumptuous. I can only think that they were taking advantage of the Japanese customers. The tour content and driver were good, but the guide's attitude felt too overbearing.

I requested a Japanese-speaking guide, but I barely understood anything they were saying, and I often had to use a translation app. They didn't listen to what people were saying. Also, they didn't know the location of the final Ganesha, and thanked me for finding it. The driver was quiet, but I felt safe with his consistently careful driving. It was supposed to include a snack, but lunch was not provided.
