This trip to the Xiamen Tulou was truly worthwhile. Seeing those magnificent Hakka buildings in person was absolutely breathtaking. The rich historical heritage and unique cultural atmosphere were captivating. The smartest decision we made on this trip was choosing to hire a private car, which allowed us to explore at our own comfortable and relaxed pace. I must give a special shout-out and highly recommend our driver, Master Li. If you're planning to visit the Xiamen Tulou by private car, you absolutely must request Master Li. His performance throughout the entire journey was impeccably professional. His driving was incredibly steady, making us feel completely safe and at ease. Even more impressive was his exceptional service attitude; he was attentive, thoughtful, and very polite throughout the trip. He was friendly and kind, chatting and laughing with us, making us feel completely comfortable, like old friends. He filled the entire car ride with joy and laughter, making it anything but boring. Additionally, the local tour guide who met us at the attractions was equally friendly and professional. With incredibly clear explanations and vivid language, he thoroughly explained the historical background, architectural structure, and local customs of the Tulou. This allowed us to do more than just sightsee; we truly immersed ourselves and understood these historical stories. Thanks to Master Li's friendly and enthusiastic care, and the local guide's wonderful explanations, the entire trip was an incredible experience, leaving us with wonderfully cherished memories. Xiao Zhang was punctual, polite, and patient. He took care of the elderly accompanying us throughout the trip and proactively shared information about the places we passed. Since the round trip was quite long, he would always ask if anyone needed to stop at service areas with restrooms, so we never had to worry about finding one. As the weather changed frequently throughout the day, he would regularly check if the temperature inside the vehicle was comfortable and adjust it as needed. He also advised that restaurants within tourist attractions are generally expensive and recommended affordable, delicious restaurants with good value for money around the tourist spots for lunch. Xiao Zhang was thoughtful and reliable; he chose safe pick-up and drop-off points to ensure the elderly felt secure during their visit, and he always helped move the wheelchair at each stop. This made the trip enjoyable for my family and me, creating wonderful memories. I sincerely thank Xiao Zhang for his attentive hospitality and arrangements, and Ms. Zhuang Zhuang for her help in answering questions and providing travel information before our departure. We visited the Yongding Gaobei Tulou Cluster and Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, and both were absolutely fascinating. The unique architecture and cultural history made the experience truly memorable. Our driver, Mr. Zhang (张先生), was punctual, friendly, and professional throughout the trip. His driving was safe and smooth, which made us feel very comfortable during the journey. We really enjoyed this trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Xiao Wu(小吴）is our driver and he is very good. as we have elderly which have difficulties in walking, he drove us direct to the nearest spot always and never rush on us. he also recommend us to a nice local restaurant for lunch. highly recommend to look for him if U are coming to visit tulou

Coordinating with the agency was effortless after connecting through WeChat. They linked us up with the driver and car information. Our driver, 小吴 (Siao wú) is very kind and considerate. We were traveling with my 85-year old mom who has a hard time walking. He drove us to shorter access points and showed us best way to walk through the sites. He took very good care of us. The female tour guide at the Tulou King is also very considerate and kind. It was a good and pleasant tour experience.

The travel agency's customer service staff proactively contacted us ten days before the trip. Our chartered car driver, Mr. Lin, did not smoke at all during the trip, and there was no smell of smoke in the car, which perfectly met our family's requirements. The car was spacious, and the 9-seater vehicle accommodated our family of six for a full-day chartered tour of ten hours. Private tour guides provided detailed explanations at the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area and the Tulou King Yongding Scenic Area. Our chartered car driver, Mr. Lin, also gave a brief introduction to the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster and helped us take photos in front of the "Four Dishes and One Soup," and also introduced local restaurants and delicious local dishes for us to taste. Although the three scenic spots are remote, and the round trip takes at least four hours, seeing the beautiful scenery of Yunshuiyao and being able to visit and learn about the Tulou architectural complex made it feel worth the price!
