What to expect
Originally a post-town during the Edo Period, Saijo has grown into one of the main “Sake Capitals” of Japan.The climate and water of this area allow for the production of excellent sake of the highest quality. To this day, seven breweries in the town continue to produce their sake using traditional techniques

The temples, hills and stone paths around the city create the beautiful scenery which has bestowed Onomichi the title of “miniature garden.” This location is not only beautiful, but also rich in history and culture. Temples covered in this tour are interesting and scenery is gorgeous. Tour guide is helpful and cheerful, with lots of background information to be shared during the tour. Highly recommended choice. However, suggested to bring your own snacks and wear sports shoes, not much restaurant open in she shop street and require walking (and stairs)

At the Saijo Sake Brewery, you can learn about sake production and sample Saijo sake, which sake lovers will definitely enjoy. The temples in Onomichi are also very beautiful.
We had an amazing time with Isabella. The trip was a million times better than what we expected, especially because it was just us 3 in a really cool part of Hiroshima. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for something unique!
