Reviews
Luckily, the weather is clear and sunny today, perfect for visiting Cangshan Mountain. We set off before dawn, and after arriving and having breakfast, we immediately started our hike. We walked a total of 3.9km from the Maple Tree Tunnel (not including the section from the parking lot to the Maple Tree Tunnel), passing Naejangsa >> Wonjeokam >> Road of LOVE >> Byeokryeonam along the way. Initially, because there were too many people waiting to take the cable car, we decided to hike up the mountain. As we walked, we ended up at Byeokryeonam. When descending, we thought we'd try our luck again with the cable car, but in the end, we had to give up due to time constraints. Overall, we were satisfied, but it's a pity there weren't enough ginkgo trees! The itinerary was well-arranged, the timing was appropriate, and the tour guide JOSH was friendly, humorous, and well-organized. LIKE
14.11.2024 It was such a nice trip although it took 3.5hrs + 6 hrs to and from naejangsan but it worth it. Beautiful scenery, great time to see autumn foliages and Ginko. Our guide Leah was very helpful, friendly, smiley and professional. It was great and thank you so much for her arrangement. She gave great information and provides comprehensive care and support throughout the whole journey. We took shuttle bus and walk 10 minutes to naejangshi which was quite relaxing with elderly. It took another hour to walk down the hill which could be quite exhausting to elderly but the scenery was amazing. You could consider taking shuttle on the way back too. 1 hour lunch plus 3.5 hours tour was quite sufficient to be with elderly.
4 hour journey from Seoul to Naejangsan base. We had lunch and set off for the tour at. 12pm. We had 4 hours and hence not rush. Went to Naejangsa and Byeokyeonam. Nice scenery though the peak was just over.
Sean, the tour guide, is very great! He speaks good English and is very friendly to all of us. He responds quickly to messages, and is always helpful. He is very funny and provided nice trivia during the trip. He is very energetic too! The tour was on time and comfortable. All in all, it was a great experience!
I had a really enjoyable time this tour and made unforgettable memories! Sean did an excellent job as a tour guide. He looked out for everyone and gave great recommendations for what to do at Naejangsan National Park. He also had a great sense of humor. We had enough time to explore the national park and hike Naejang Mountain. The autumn views were breathtaking! Lunch was also delicious and there was a vegetarian option. I highly recommend this tour if you like hiking and need a getaway from the city!
Tour guide able to speak fluent English and friendly. The walkabout is doable at own pace, or one can also take shuttle bus. There is also cable car for those not able to walk too long
I am a solo traveler and I booked a group tour going to Naejangsang mountain. It was no longer a peak of autumn season when I weny there but still the place is so beautiful.
I want to call out our fantastic guide Linda who was always lively and insightful, keeping the atmosphere fun. One thing to note, the best option is to hike to observatory as the time is a little short for the more challenging hikes. I did make it to the peak (Bulchulbong) but just only.
The trips was absolutely stunning. The drive takes most of the time, but you have still plenty of time to hike by yourself or to go with most of the people up with gondola (not included in fee ca. 10.000 won return). The lunch is also recommended by the company for 15-25.000 won each. It tasted very good but was in comparison to Seoul pricey. Our guide Sean was the friendliest and passionate tour guide I ever had! It was great fun with him and would definitely recommend. He tough us a lot about the history of Korea. His English was also good! We hope to see him next year again!
The first time I left a one-star review, I participated in the trip on 10/31. We agreed to take care of our own lunch, and thought the tour guide was kind enough to help the group members arrange restaurants. It turned out to be super unpalatable, very expensive, and the line after arriving at the restaurant was super confusing. After waiting outside the restaurant for 10 minutes, there was no arrangement for a seat, which completely delayed the follow-up time. The tour guide seems to force you to eat in the restaurant. If you don't eat, it seems like he doesn't care about you. Seaweed is also sold on the tour bus. Although there is no compulsory purchase, it does not feel good. It is obviously a free one-day tour, but it seems to be restricted everywhere. I don’t recommend AK Travel. Starway Travel, which is cooperating with kkday next door, also comes with breakfast and lunch. The price and cp value are relatively high~ If they hadn’t been able to form a group, it would have been impossible to participate in this! One star is for the maple leaves that are not completely red. The picture is accompanied by a lunch worth 44,000 Korean won and more than 1,000 Taiwan dollars... It really sucks.
