Review for: Upscale Four-Diamond Hotel

We're back in Taiwan, and I've sorted things out. I didn't want to deal with unpleasant issues during the trip, so I didn't argue further afterward. We decided to take this Chongqing trip because we saw online videos of the Wu River. However, the itinerary we purchased was different from the one we actually followed. The Wu River Gallery cruise, which was the original inspiration for the trip, was omitted. You changed the itinerary unilaterally without our consent and without notifying us, for reasons other than unavoidable factors such as transportation or weather. If we hadn't raised the issue, it would have been swept under the rug. Only after we noticed the itinerary change did you say it was due to a handover problem and that's why we weren't informed in advance. Then, the driver/guide called that evening to say it was his personal issue – this tactic is too obvious. The other two groups in the same vehicle that day had purchased the Furong River and Wulong tour, while we had the Wu River Gallery cruise tour. These are completely different itineraries. Would a driver/guide combine two groups with different itineraries without company authorization or a designated vehicle? If so, why didn't we all go to the Wu River together? Arranging a trip isn't like spontaneously deciding to visit a night market, especially since we flew in from Taiwan. I suspect we're not the first group to have their itinerary changed arbitrarily. I will definitely file a complaint with the platform. The itinerary change isn't about whether you informed us in advance or so-called internal handover errors, but rather that it should never have happened in the first place. If purchased itineraries can be unilaterally changed without unavoidable factors and without prior notice or negotiation, what is the credibility of this platform! Is this how KL00K deceives its customers?

  • Upon arrival, the pick-up driver or staff will contact you promptly. Please ensure your mobile phone is accessible after getting off the vehicle and wait for the driver or pick-up staff. Do not casually interact with strangers or walk away with them. Please identify and confirm their identity before boarding the vehicle.
  • The local travel agency will arrange airport/station drop-off in advance based on each traveler's different return times. Please keep your mobile phone accessible and patiently wait for the travel agency staff to contact you.
  • The hotel check-out time is stipulated to be before 12:00 noon. Travelers who need to extend their stay should inquire with the hotel front desk themselves and complete the check-out procedures according to the hotel's requirements. After checking out, you can wait for the travel agency's drop-off staff in the hotel lobby. Large luggage can be stored at the hotel front desk. Please keep your valuables with you.
  • Without reducing the number of attractions or listed items, our agency may adjust the order of attraction visits based on actual circumstances.
  • Travelers must pay attention to their personal safety and carry valuables with them!! Do not leave valuables in the hotel or tour vehicle! Please take good care of your personal belongings during the tour. The travel agency will not be responsible for any losses due to improper personal care.
  • Regarding accommodation: A twin room is arranged by default, with 2 adults per room. This itinerary does not allow for sharing rooms with strangers. If you are traveling as an odd number of adults, you must purchase one "single room supplement"; a single traveler will be arranged a private room; if 3 adults are traveling, an additional "single room supplement" must be purchased, which will arrange two rooms for you.
  • You must carry valid identification documents when departing. If you are unable to check in for flights, take trains, check into hotels, or visit attractions due to not carrying valid identification documents, the traveler shall bear the responsibility themselves.
  • Travelers must ensure they are in good health before participating in the tour itinerary arranged by the travel agency and must not deceive or conceal any health issues. If any accident occurs due to the traveler's physical discomfort, the travel agency will not be held responsible.
  • The travel agency does not recommend travelers participate in activities with uncertain personal safety. The travel agency will not be responsible for any consequences arising from travelers' unauthorized actions.
  • If a traveler leaves the group or changes the itinerary midway due to personal reasons, it will be considered an automatic waiver, and the travel agency will not be able to refund any fees. The traveler shall bear any other expenses and safety issues arising therefrom.
