Xining Laji Mountain + Zongkara Tse Half-Day Tour

We will depart from your hotel in Xining city center at 9:00 AM to begin an in-depth experience of the plateau's culture and natural scenery. Our first stop is Laji Mountain, at an altitude of 3,820 meters. We'll drive along the winding mountain road, where the scenery outside the window gradually transitions from the city to the magnificent plateau landscape, with distant snow-capped mountains glistening in the sunlight.

Upon arriving at the Zongkara Tse Scenic Area, you will see colorful prayer flags fluttering in the plateau wind. This is an important cultural sacred site in the Tibetan region. Stroll through the cultural corridor built from more than 200,000 Mani stones and feel the devout faith passed down by the Tibetan people. Ascend to the viewing platform, where a 360-degree panoramic view allows you to take in the majestic beauty of the Laji Mountains, with rolling mountains looming in the sea of clouds.
