- Day 1: Depart from anywhere in the country to Taiyuan. Hotel check-in. Shanxi Guild Hall dinner, hands-on experience with intangible cultural heritage pasta (32KM, 1H)

- Day 3: Pingyao to Jinci Temple. Experience making "Tanjuan'er," a delicacy from "A Bite of China." Stay at Datong hotel (392KM, 5H)
- Day 4: Datong to Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, "the world's tallest wooden pagoda." Hanging Temple. Dou Gong (bracket set) building experience: hands-on challenge with ancient Lego. Datong hotel (190KM, 3H)
- Day 5: Datong to Jinhuagong Mine "exploration of the earth's core." Yungang Grottoes. End of trip, group disperses in Datong (60KM, 1.5H)
