Reviews
Reviews summaryWe booked the Join-In Small Group Cu Chi Tunnels Half Day Tour via Klook for 2, including hotel pickup and return transportation. The operator contacted us a day before to confirm the arrangements, and pickup was punctual. Our guide, Ms Thuyen, was knowledgeable and shared many interesting information about the Vietnam War and the history of the Cu Chi Tunnels. The 13-seater van had only 7 tourists, so there was plenty of space. Traffic was heavy, taking around 3 hours to the place, with a short stop at a handicraft centre along the way. The Cu Chi Tunnels were interesting and informative. We explored several tunnel sections, tried boiled cassava, and learnt about how the tunnels were used during the war. The guide also gave clear safety advice for those uncomfortable with confined spaces. Ms Thuyen's constantly checked on everyone's comfort, recommended places to visit and eat in Ho Chi Minh City, and never hard-sold any additional activities or purchases.
Our tour guide was Vi and she was very lovely and courteous! I really appreciate her looking out for my mom all throughout the trip. Also learned more about the history of the vietnam war and how the Vietnamese were so clever with their strategies. I loved the challenge of going inside the bunkers and getting to experience how the people get and walk inside. Would highly recommend this activity!
Yen was a great guide, he was knowledgeable and communicated very well in good english. He shared the history of the vietnam war and the cu chi tunnels. Pick up from hotel was prompt and fuss free. There was a toilet break and short breakfast break and coffee for those who want.. Here we also visited the making of the laquer products. At cu chi tunnels, we had the chance to go into the tunnels and learnt of the ingeunuity of the vietnamese and the various traps they built.
A must do activity to learn and experience the life of vietnamese soldier during the war. Our tour guide FELIX is very, friendly, and full of information regarding the history of the war and info of cu chi tunnel. we enjoyed his company and will highly recommend the tour to everyone visiting HoChiMin. Thank you Felix. Youre an asset in the tourism industry.

great experience. the tour guide is highly recommended, tour guide Yen. its a nice to experience crawling inside the tunnels. the driver is also commendable. the side trips at handicapped village and firing range is also good experience. highly recommended tour. great experience! it is worth it! the other tourists who joined the tour are friendly.
"It was a blast because of all the activities, like shooting ranges, crawling through the tunnels, and even tasting the cassava that soldiers used to eat during the war. Having Heidi as our guide made it even better—she's so knowledgeable and her jokes kept the energy high the whole time."
Our trip to the Cu Chi Tunnels took around 2 hours from the city. Before arriving, we stopped at a handicapped handicraft (opened since 1976) where we could see how handmade products were created by artisan (families of the victim war). It was interesting to watch the whole process, although the products were a little expensive compared to other shops (you definitely can find them in other stores as well). The best part of the tour was definitely our guide, Ms. Heidi. She was very informative, fun, and explained the history of the Vietnam War and Cu Chi Tunnels in a very engaging way. She also shared jokes throughout the journey, making the long ride enjoyable, and even helped us take photos during the trip. Overall, it was a memorable and educational experience. Highly recommended for first-timers visiting Vietnam, and we would definitely recommend Ms. Heidi to our friends too!
The two-hour journey includes a two-hour tour and a two-hour return trip to the city. Towards the tunns, there is a stop at the Disability Workshop, where visitors can purchase items and meet individuals affected by Agent Orange. The experience is highly interesting, educational, and a historical part of Vietnam, especially within the Ho Chi Minh City context. Shoutout to Jason the guide. You also get a bottle of water.
Perfect. Absolutely perfect!! I recommend Trew as a tour guide. He explained everything in detail, hes also really nice! Thank you for this experience! I loved it and its very memorable for my birthday trip!
