Jeju Aewol Beginner Surfing Lesson

This was an amazing experience that I got to share with my friends. All of the instructors were incredibly friendly. First, they taught us the techniques at the shop, then we practiced them on the sand before heading into the water. Even once we were in the water, they continued giving us guidance to help improve our technique on the surfboard. Definitely don’t hesitate to book with them. You’ll have a great time with wonderful people who are passionate about what they love most—surfing! 🏄🏼‍♀️

My wife and I had a lovely time with Moonsurf! The training was thorough and our instructors ensured everyone got their basics right before we headed to the waters. The most fun experience we had during all our times in Jeju (we have been to Jeju 3 times)! 10/10 recommend 🌄🌊🏄🏼‍♂️

Our experience was nothing short of magical. As a mom surfing with my adult kids, I was a little nervous, but Lola and the entire crew made us feel instantly welcome and capable. Lola, you have such a special and warm way of connecting with people—when you called me "Mama," it just melted my heart. It felt so personal and caring, and it truly made the experience unique. Under their expert and patient guidance, all of us—from my kids to this "Mama"—were standing up on the boards and catching waves with huge smiles on our faces. They created a fun, supportive, and incredibly safe environment. Thank you, Lola and the Moonsurf team, for helping me create these beautiful, core-memory moments with my family. I promise... As a foreigner with zero surfing or Korean knowledge, I was initially a little worried about this experience. However, the staff at Moonsurf were extremely helpful and accommodating! I went in the late afternoon for a surfing session and I had an amazing time. They went through the basics and techniques with me and I was able to stand on the surfboard in the session!! Mr Lee was my surf instructor and he was very patient and understanding as an instructor and I would highly recommend him! I would definitely come here again, plus there is a complimentary DJI drone shoot, which was amazing!

Coming to Jeju Island was all about water activities, and surfing was something my 10-year-old son had been looking forward to for a long time. The safety here is trustworthy, so I let him participate on his own. The instructor was very experienced and patient, explaining everything clearly and following a well-defined process. After a two-hour lesson, he really learned how to do it, and he was so proud of himself. The instructor even helped record a video and sent it to me. It was a great experience.

I had a super day with Moonsurf on Jeju island. The water is warm and clear, Moonsurf's surfboards are excellent, and Lola (instructor) is a delight. Very professionally run and very safety conscious. Perhaps best of all they sent me the most AMAZING drone video of my surfing lesson. Wow!

10/10 would recommend, staff was nice and even took photos and videos for us. I was nervy but it was so much fun!

This experience was one I will never forget! The instructors were very careful to explain surfing protocols before we went into the water. Even though the waves were rough at the time, they guided us to make sure we were all safe and could dodge the waves. The steps they taught us were easy to remember so I actually got to ride the waves well!!!

It was amazing! We should have booked three hours! It's perfect for beginners! The pleasant manager, Hola, notified us as soon as we registered. Our instructor met us and showed us a video briefing. Then we practiced on the beach, and the best part was the ride itself. We were so worried we wouldn't have any photos 😭, but the team took care of that too; they send photos to your email 😔☺️😭❤️. It's so wonderful, thank you ❤️.
