Manga Creation Experience with a Famous Active Professional Manga Artist (Ikebukuro)

This is a "Manga Artist Experience" taught by a Japanese manga artist.

[Overview] In just 2 hours, you can learn how to create characters and draw manga. These lessons are taught by Japanese manga artists, but an English interpreter will be present during the class, so you can take the class even if you don’t speak Japanese. From children to adults, you can learn about the history of manga and draw manga in the traditional way.

Professional drafting tools are also available. (G-pen, ink, manga paper, etc.) You can learn how to draw manga from the basics, so even beginners will have no problem.

The courses are divided into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced.

Please choose a course according to the level of the participant. If you have small children, we recommend that you choose a course that suits your children.

★Beginner Course (held daily at 10:00) This program is for junior high school students and younger children and families. The content is designed to be enjoyable for beginners and children. Learn how to draw simple characters and the basics of drawing manga from manga!

★Intermediate Course (held daily at 13:00) This program is for high school students and older. Recommended for those who have drawn illustrations or manga as a hobby in the past. This is an experience where you can learn character design and manga techniques for intermediate students. What you can learn: ・How to draw chibi characters ・Creating 4-panel manga, etc. Junior high school students and older who are good at illustration can also choose this course.

★Advanced/Professional Course (held daily at 15:00) This is a lesson for advanced students. If you want to learn specialized manga production techniques or want to hear about a manga artist’s career from a professional manga artist, please select this course. What you can learn: ・Character design ・Panel layout (storyboard composition) ・How to draw people (anatomy/expressions) ・Career consultation as a manga artist
