Reviews
Nikko Prefecture 2.5 hours from Tokyo does have extraordinary natural beauty, our family of 4 with 2 of our parents who use wheelchairs decided to go there by renting a car. Booking via Klook was very easy, but we only got the driver / travel phone number 24 hours before. This was very troublesome considering we had to adjust the itinerary because the parents were in wheelchairs. were these places accessible by wheelchair. And it turned out they were! Only Kendo Falls had a lot of stairs to reach, but Lake Chuzenji and Ryuzu Cascades were very accessible to wheelchairs. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It's just that the road down the mountain was very winding, for people who are easily carsick, they can feel dizzy and nauseous. Our driver Vikey was very friendly, attentive and willing to help during the trip. Another bonus, even though we traveled in spring, it turned out that the temperature in Nikko was close to 2° and even snowed when we arrived there.
friendly tour guide. it’s definitely a wonderful experience
Driver called and asked that we start at 7 to avoid heavy traffic. We said no. Our booking is 8am. Driver arrived 20mins late. THERE WAS NO TRAFFIC. The worst was we were given a van that had GARBAGE ALL OVER. potato chips strewn all over. The check engine light was on and the actual body of the van was banged up like it was in an accident. The driver was quiet and did not really know where to go. It was definitely not a pleasurable experience as we were all nervous that the engine will stop and leave us stranded somewhere.
