I used it well for a day trip from Ito Station to Izukyu Shimoda. It was nice that the Shimoda Ropeway was included. You have to exchange the ticket at Ito Station or Izukyu Shimoda Station, but the exchange is not available before 9:00 AM, so I received a confirmation from the Ito Station ticket office and used it. I didn't have time to use the resort special train. It's not easy to ride the special train because it runs late in the morning (11:00 AM) and late in the afternoon (4:00 PM). Next time, I would like to try the resort train.

It is a paper ticket. You have to go to the counter to change it (give the QR CODE directly to the station staff). Show it to the station staff when entering and exiting. There is no need to put it in the machine.

It’s a very affordable pass. You don’t need to take a card. You can go to the gate and show it to the staff before you can enter and exit the station. If you buy a 3-day pass, you can take 2 rides a day to quickly get the value of the pass. It’s worth buying.
