I was torn between climbing the Cupola and Giotto's Campanile, but because I wasn't confident in my stamina, I chose Giotto's Campanile, as I was told there were several rest stops along the way. Just when I started to get tired, a rest stop would appear, so even a somewhat older person like myself with limited stamina was able to make it to the top. It was also nice that I could enter other facilities as well. I think Giotto's Campanile is well worth the climb.
Arrive at the bell tower at the designated time to line up. After the security check, you can start climbing. There are many floors to rest on along the way, so you can complete the climb according to your physical ability.
414 steps, challenging at first but it was a nice workout! nice view!
It is really worth climbing the bell tower with 414 steps. Although it is a bit breathless and narrow, the view from the top is great. I highly recommend it. The itinerary also includes the museum and the baptistery, which can be visited within three days, which is very flexible.
I have to check in my backpack. The stairs are really narrow, not suitable for carrying a big bag. It is very dangerous when there are cars. Don’t go in at the last minute, or you may be driven downstairs before you can climb to the top floor or take photos...
Booking was easy. The 400 steps are tough, but the view was amazing.
The Giotto's Bell Tower has limited time slots for entry. The other two locations can be used within 3 days. Make sure to read the details carefully after purchasing, I almost only used the Giotto's Bell Tower😅.
Not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad, not bad.
