Kumamoto Iconic Statues World of Pirates Adventure Tour

Highly recommended for One Piece fans who want to collect One Piece statues. The private car service saves you from transportation and weather issues. Thanks to Mr. Ogino for the interactive introductions throughout the trip. Although I don't understand much Japanese, Mr. Ogino used translation software to show me Chinese, helped with photos the entire time, and even took me to a store selling figures to buy some. Taking photos and buying figures at each spot took about 10-15 minutes, and we finished all 10 statues by 4:10 PM. So, 20 minutes per statue is more than enough time. The lunch was also delicious. Additionally, there's an AR interactive photo experience on-site; you can download an app, scan images there, and interactive dialogue will appear. I highly recommend trying it. Finally, I was incredibly lucky to encounter the One Piece Thousand Sunny train at Takamori Station while photographing Franky. Since I didn't buy a ticket, I only took photos from outside. I participated in this solo tour on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

The tour was amazing. Besides the fact that the guide (Mori-san) was super kind, the landscapes and the food of Kumamoto were incredible. Totally recommended since the spots where the statues are located are quite far from the city center so this is THE way to see all of them in one journey.

As a One Piece fan is a must have. All the stops are beautiful and magical spots, our guide was super helpful and kind, I will totally recommend this tour, you will not regret it!

I think this itinerary is great! Plus, lunch was provided and it was delicious. Since the One Piece statues are scattered all over the place, having a dedicated car to take us around for photos was really wonderful! My only regret is that I didn't check the operating hours for each location, so I missed getting a picture with Robin.

We had an amazing time! Our driver/guide asked us to call him Niki, sadly I do not remember his full name, but he was amazing. He spoke some English and we used translator apps to fill in the gaps. The drive was smooth and cool, which we were grateful for in the summer heat! The statues were so much fun, Niki took our photos while we posed with them, and we collected the figures for each of them. I would recommend that you withdraw cash before the tour as the shops for Chopper, Franky, and Sanji are cash only! Niki was kind enough to make a stop at 7-11 so we could withdraw more after we ran out. Besides the statues, we really enjoyed seeing so much of the city. The scenery was beautiful and we too SO many photos.

Mr. Yamakawa's service was impeccable. His professionalism and dedication to pleasing us were unparalleled, despite the language barrier, which the translator easily overcame. He was incredibly punctual and helped us find the figures, even though some had been moved. The van was super spacious and clean. Just be aware of the day you book your tour; in our case, we took the tour on a Monday, and the Chopper, Sanji, and Brook stores were closed, and these figures cannot be purchased elsewhere. The cost of the figures is: gold ¥2,200, colored ¥2,680, so be sure to bring cash as not all locations accept card payments.

Mr.Ogino (the Tour guide/Driver) is highly commendable for his work. He made sure that we were comfortable and that we were able to make the most out of our tour. I do not think it is possible to see the 10 statues and also purchase their respective miniature models without this tour package as some shops are not in the same place as the statues. I highly recommend this tour package and Mr. Ogino.

The driver was a Japanese woman who could only communicate in Japanese. We used Google Translate throughout the trip, but our conversations were enjoyable, and the itinerary went smoothly. She drove very steadily, making us feel completely at ease. She also checked in with us about how we were feeling during the ride and any other needs we had. The timing for photos, buying figures, and meals was perfectly arranged. I highly recommend this tour; it's incredibly convenient to see all the One Piece statues and buy all the figures in one day.

Akemi-san is a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable guide. Although there was a language barrier, we are able to communicate via a translation app. Akemi-san also prepared umbrellas for us as it rained most of the day.

Mr. Ogino is a class act and expert in this itinerary. he knew where to go for statues and where to buy the figures (because they aren’t the same place!) remember to bring cash because not all figures can be bought with card. Don’t worry if you travel solo, Mr. Ogino is a fantastic photographer as well! This trip will be one of my lasting memories of Japan
